🦠Sexually Transmitted Infections (#STIs) | #Biosamples Collection by BIOMEDICA CRO. 💥Significant progress in developing a vaccine to protect against Chlamydia, a prevalent Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) – an overview of the recent scientific news with BIOMEDICA CRO, your trusted provider of human biosamples. Researchers have made significant progress in developing a vaccine to protect against Chlamydia, a prevalent STI. A recent study reported that an experimental vaccine administered to lab mice helped them quickly clear subsequent infections. These vaccinated mice were also less likely to develop severe infections compared to unvaccinated ones. “Our findings pave the way for a new generation of whole-cell, multivalent Chlamydia vaccines, offering a promising strategy to combat this global health challenge,” the study concludes.
