✨ This year has been a vibrant and eventful one for our educational community. We conducted the first large-scale study of Ukrainian teachers, "Teachers of Ukraine: Human Resource Potential". We hosted 44 events focused on learning and personal growth at our Training Center, fueling inspiration for new professional achievements at the "Teachers of the Future" festival. We hosted another warm and incredibly meaningful gathering with the semifinalists and finalists of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024. It was more than just a discussion about challenges and innovations in school education—it was about drawing inspiration from one another and driving changes that truly matter. The participants had the opportunity to hear from Nadiia Kuzmychova, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Education and Science, who shared her vision for the future of education. The event also featured a lecture on media literacy from the 1+1 Media School, a public speaking training session, and hands-on workshops led by teachers from this year’s Top 50. It was a true exchange of experiences and practical tools. A special highlight was the recognition ceremony for this year’s Top 50 and Top 10 teachers—a symbolic moment that underscored the importance of each inspiring story. We’re thrilled to see our community of teachers, who are shaping the future of education, grow stronger every year.

The Finnish education system has long been an inspiration for many countries around the world. It's often hailed as one of the best thanks to its high standards, innovative approach, and the happiness of its students. But does this reputation truly reflect reality? 🤔 To find out, the Osvitoria team, together with the education community, embarked on an educational journey to Helsinki 🇫🇮. Over three days in Finland’s capital, our delegation: ✨ visited local schools, kindergartens, and vocational education centers, ✨ engaged in discussions with Finnish educators, cultural figures, and experts, ✨ discovered the inner workings of a system that consistently amazes the world with its results. Upon returning home, we gathered all the insights, reflections, and experiences of the participants and shared them at the offline event "Secrets of Finnish Education: Osvitoria’s Insights" held at the Osvitoria Hub. 🌟Osvitoria, as part of the REducation project, has completed the restoration of the library and specialized classrooms for chemistry, biology, and physics at Irpin Lyceum No. 3, which suffered significant damage during the early days of Russia's full-scale invasion. Today, it stands as a modern space designed to inspire students to be creative and explore new horizons of knowledge. 📚🔬 REducation is an emergency educational support initiative established to assist public schools and ensure quality learning processes even in the most challenging conditions of war. We believe that education is the key to rebuilding and advancing our nation.🌍. 🎤This project was made possible through a $300,000 contribution from Osvitoria to REducation, part of the $2.7 million raised after Zoya Lytvyn's impactful speech at TED Conferences in 2022. 🎥In this video, we captured the meticulous restoration process that took several months to complete.

On December 3, the sixth international Partnership for Sustainability Award 2024 ceremony 🎉 celebrated the best projects implemented through partnerships between businesses, governments, and the public sector. Osvitoria proudly claimed the gold 🥇 in the "Digitalization" category for its innovative project, "Can't Wait to Learn"! 💡✨ Can't Wait to Learn is a mobile app designed for students in grades 1–4. The app offers an engaging way for children to learn by watching educational video lessons crafted using microlearning principles. Interactive mini-games reinforce the material, turning learning into a fun and effective experience.📚 This year’s competition brought together participants from 12 countries, including Ukraine, Finland, the Netherlands, France, and many others 🌍. The event aims to foster Ukraine’s recovery, achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, protect the environment, advance digitalization, and address key societal challenges. Awards were presented in five categories: Society, Planet, Peace and Light Warriors, Economic Development, and Digitalization. Special attention was given to projects supporting Ukraine, showcasing inspiring examples for its future rebuilding efforts. 👩🏫 Teachers are the backbone of quality education, but across the world and in Ukraine we’re seeing a crisis in the teaching profession. Many educators are leaving the field, and the challenges they face are growing. To respond effectively, we need solid data to guide our actions and decisions. 📚Osvitoria, together with the research agency FAMA, spent a year studying the challenges faced by Ukraine’s teachers.
