PELUM Uganda reposted this
📢 Proud to Contribute to PELUM Uganda’s Quarterly Bulletin – Issue 6! 📢 I’m excited to share that I had the opportunity to contribute to the latest edition of the PELUM Uganda Quarterly Bulletin – Issue 6, which showcases the power of agroecology in transforming food systems across East Africa. 🌾 This issue brings forward incredible initiatives, including the work of PELUM Uganda on many projects such as the KCOA Project under the KHEA Hub, and presents inspiring success stories, challenges, and the importance of policy advocacy to create an enabling environment for sustainable food systems. At the recent KCOA networking meeting in Cape Town organised by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH with representation from the KHEA Hub, we had the privilege of engaging with thought leaders/partners and practitioners in the KCOA network, gaining fresh perspectives on how we can collectively move towards more resilient and sustainable food systems. These discussions directly inform and inspire the content I contributed to this edition, and I’m thrilled to share the insights from both the online and physical meeting in the PELUM Uganda Bulletin. A huge thank you to everyone involved in putting together this issue and for the opportunity to amplify these voices. Let’s continue to push for positive change and work towards a sustainable future for Africa’s food systems. 🌍 Read the full newsletter here: https://lnkd.in/dr2MYCNJ #Agroecology #SustainableFoodSystems #KCOA #PELUMUganda #PolicyAdvocacy #EastAfrica #Networking #CapeTown #FoodSecurity #Agriculture #Africa Biovision Foundation Biovision Africa Trust Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) PELUM Uganda PELUM Kenya Association Rwanda Organic Agriculture Movement TOAM TANZANIA ORGANIC AGRICULTURE MOVEMENT ICIPE - International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL IFOAM - Organics International Access Agriculture IFOAM Organics Europe United Nations World Food Programme World Health Organization FAO Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in EA
