From 9th to 13th December 2024, War Child Alliance in Uganda is hosting a pivotal training on Grants Management, Procurement, and Internal Controls. This initiative is designed to strengthen the ability of our local partners to be effective and become reliable actors within their communities, equipping them with the tools to sustain development results and enhance their organizational resilience. At the core of this effort lies a commitment to elevating local leadership and ownership. We are honoured to collaborate with a diverse group of organizations whose dedication and ingenuity are transforming lives across Uganda. From Tumaini for Refugee Women and Planning for Tomorrow to Rice West Nile and Kabarole Research and Resource Centre, these partners exemplify the power of localized solutions. African Women and Youth Action for Development, Community Empowerment for Peace and Development West Nile, Community Consortium Uganda, Youth Social Advocacy Team, Uganda Refugee and Disaster Management Council, HAF Uganda, and Similar Ground further enrich this network, contributing invaluable knowledge and grassroots expertise. This initiative would not be possible without the steadfast support of our donors: DG ECHO under the STEPS Project MOFA through the INSPIRE Project IMS via the Pamoja Tunaweza Project #ECHO #IMS @EUinUG @eu_echo Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Uganda @MOFA - Netherlands
