Our team had an amazing time at the Acute & General Medicine Conference earlier this month! We caught up with Dr Mackinder Dosanjh, an SpR A&E Doctor who explains how we supported him throughout his locum career. Denni Luya played a pivotal role in Mackinder’s career journey as she took the time to understand his requirements from a new role and communicated effectively. Thomas Bird, Customer Success Medics Team Lead, hosted an engaging session around job planning at the Acute & General Medicine conference last week. There was plenty of conversation around how to create an effective job plan, that supports, productivity, safety and wellbeing. Here are the top themes and questions covered: 1️⃣ We don't know what the purpose of job planning is at our organisation 2️⃣ I want to tie in job planning to service and demand and team job plan, can a system support this? 3️⃣ My job plan doesn't always fit into a timetable, how do I work around this? Do you have these same questions? Get in touch to continue the conversation. #AGM24 #jobplan #jobplanning

I’m really glad I got the opportunity to attend the Acute & General Medicine 2024 in London last week. I thoroughly enjoyed it, since the talks given by covered a wide range of topics, from Parkinson’s disease to heart failure management, and were delivered by specialists with years of experience in their fields, offering deep insights and practical knowledge. The event was highly informative, with engaging sessions and also a broad variety of stands providing valuable information and resources to enhance patient care and staff wellbeing. I hope I can attend next year and keep learning and developing professionally.

Last week, we attended the Acute & General Medicine conference, where we ran workshops discussing best practice in medical rostering, making best use of incident reporting and job planning for safety productivity and wellbeing. Dr Darren Kilroy, Medical Director at RLDatix, has provided his reflections on the most common questions he was asked during our sessions: 1️⃣ What is the easiest way to approach building a team job plan in my service? 2️⃣ How can I use our team job plans to help support us securing additional permanent medical staff? 3️⃣ Where do I go for help and support in making incident reports a more positive learning opportunity at my organisation? Do you find yourself asking the same questions? Get in touch to continue the conversation. #AGM24 #jobplan #medicalrostering #incidentreporting #productivity

It was great meeting so many new doctors and reconnecting with those we’ve worked with over the years 🤝 This year was particularly special as it marked our 10th appearance at the AGM since we first exhibited in 2012! 🥳 We're also really proud of our brand-new stand, which made for some fantastic conversations!
