Predrilling Virtual Logging® Its Less Boring with Adrok®

About us

Adrok is passionate about helping to make the world a better place by helping to better understand what lies beneath the earth creating virtual boreholes – therefore realising considerable savings for exploratory projects. Adrok develops and uses advanced technology to supply geophysical services for locating, identifying and mapping subsurface natural resources (oil, gas, water, minerals) in environmentally-friendly ways. We provide our clients with measurements of the subsurface natural resources, rock types and rock sequences before drilling and, at the same time, help them mitigate the environmental damage caused by traditional exploration techniques. We call our technology Atomic Dielectric Resonance. We call our services Predrilling Virtual Logging ®. Its Less Boring with Adrok ®. If you want to discover new things, you either need to look in new places or try new methodologies. It would be great to learn about your technical challenges to see if we could tailor our technological services to help meet your needs and provide you with solutions. Please get in touch if you’d like to find out more about Adrok and our technologies. Let us know if you are interested in discussing future partnerships, collaborations and business opportunities. • 🚰 Adrok Ltd. is developing precision targeting for Aquifers up to and over 1000m depth, depending on overlying geology. Our technology is a direct targeting tool whereby the Dielectric Permittivity of rocks within a vertical sequence is measured.  Water has a DC of 80, whereas rocks have a DC of 5 to 30.  We can differentiate water-rich aquifers by exploiting this difference in Dielectric Permittivity. 💚 The greener way to find groundwater. "leave only footprints". Unlike drilling, an Adrok scan only requires access to the selected site for a few hours while the field crew carries out it's scans. Our exploration is digital, low energy and non-destructive - we find the optimum position for successful drilling in the more environmentally friendly way. No clearing of trees, bushland or farmland. No digging of holes. No land clearing permits. No potential for land or water contamination. No disruption to wildlife or livestock. Find out more...

Adrok Ltd.'s founders enjoyed attending and presenting at the enlightening Smeaton300 symposium today at Heriot-Watt University to celebrate 300 years since the birth of John Smeaton (1724–1792), often referred to as the "father of civil engineering". John Smeaton's contributions to civil engineering were not limited to his technical innovations but extended to establishing the profession's foundations through scientific methods, professional standards, and collaborative efforts. His works and ideas laid the groundwork for modern civil engineering, combining theory with practical application to solve real-world problems. https://lnkd.in/e6Hr5qxp

A client reminded me of an interesting geotechnical project Adrok Ltd. performed to help restore a 150 year old pier in Shetland, that he came across whilst on a recent holiday. So, I thought I'd share it here too. #Shetland #Nearsurface #geotechnicalsurvey

  • Spectroscopy is a technique used to analyse the interaction between matter and electromagnetic radiation. It allows scientists to determine the composition, structure, and physical properties of matter by examining how it absorbs, emits, or scatters light. Electromagnetic Spectroscopy involves the use of electromagnetic radiation, which includes a wide range of wavelengths from gamma rays to radio waves. Different types of spectroscopy focus on different parts of this spectrum. Here are some of Adrok Ltd. results from non-invasively scanning rocks using one of our laboratory systems, at the famous Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, showed sulphides can be separated from silicates using energy measurements derived from FFT at statistically significant levels. #innovation #research #geosciences #spectroscopy #electromagnetics

  • Red Dog Mine is one of the largest zinc mines in the world, located in the remote region of Northwest Alaska, approximately 90 miles north of Kotzebue and 55 miles from the Chukchi Sea. In addition to zinc, the mine produces lead and has associated silver by products. The Myrtle Mine, located in the Northern Territory of Australia, is a sediment-hosted massive sulfide (SHMS) type, similar to the nearby McArthur River deposit, and is known for its significant zinc and lead deposits. Both Red Dog and Myrtle are important parts of Australia's and USA's respective mining landscape, contributing to each country's status as a leading global producer of zinc and lead. Adrok Ltd. have been fortunate enough to have surveyed both zinc and lead sites. Here's a copy of our key findings.

  • Does Adrok compliment or compete with Drilling Companies? Adrok compliments and can team up with drilling companies. Adrok, a company known for its innovative subsurface imaging technology using Atomic Dielectric Resonance (ADR), offers a unique service that can significantly benefit drilling companies. By collaborating, Adrok and drilling companies can enhance their exploration and drilling operations in several ways: Improved Accuracy in Site Selection: Adrok's ADR technology can provide detailed images of subsurface structures, helping drilling companies identify the most promising drilling locations. This reduces the risk of drilling dry or non-productive wells. 1) Cost Efficiency: With better data on subsurface conditions, drilling companies can plan their operations more efficiently, potentially reducing the number of exploratory wells needed and lowering overall costs. 2) Environmental Benefits: By minimizing unnecessary drilling, the environmental impact of drilling operations can be reduced. Accurate subsurface imaging helps avoid sensitive areas and optimizes resource extraction. 3) Enhanced Risk Management: Detailed subsurface data allows drilling companies to better assess risks such as unexpected geological formations or fluid pressures, improving safety and operational outcomes. 4) Data Integration: Adrok's technology can complement existing geophysical data, providing a more comprehensive understanding of subsurface conditions. This integration can improve decision-making processes for drilling companies. Collaborating with drilling companies can also provide Adrok with more opportunities to validate and refine their technology in real-world conditions, leading to further advancements and increased market acceptance. In conclusion, a partnership between Adrok and drilling companies can be mutually beneficial, leveraging Adrok's advanced imaging capabilities to enhance the efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability of drilling operations. #mineralexploration #criticalminerals #racetonetzero #miningtechnology #remotesensing
