Imagine you're the CEO of a global brand headquartered in the US. 💭 Your sustainability team has just unveiled an ambitious plan: to cut emissions, transition to regenerative agriculture, and ensure complete supply chain transparency. It’s a vision that not only aligns with global climate goals but also builds lasting brand strength for future generations. But there’s a problem. U.S. law forces you to focus on short-term quarterly profits. Add to that the recent political backdrop – like the Trump administration’s sweeping rollbacks of environmental policies - and it’s easy to see why shareholders are lulled into skepticism, pushing for short-term numbers and forgoing the long-term gains that sustainability can deliver. For decades, shareholder primacy has dictated business strategy. Maximising quarterly returns has been the norm. But what happens when sustainability isn’t just a side initiative, but the foundation of your company’s future growth? Consider Coca-Cola’s experience: in regions where water scarcity and environmental degradation became acute, operations were forced to scale back or withdraw entirely – proving that if the planet doesn’t thrive, business can’t either. As the climate crisis intensifies, examples like this will become increasingly widespread. Ultimately, the lesson is clear: sustainability is not an optional add-on – it is the lifeblood of long-term success. Companies that focus solely on short-term profits risk undermining their future, while those that invest in a thriving planet today are laying the groundwork for enduring growth. Only the businesses planning for the long term will survive. This is exactly what we do at AimHi Earth. We empower workforces inside the world’s biggest brands to transform sustainability from a ‘corporate initiative’ into a business imperative. If you're a leader grappling with this challenge, let’s chat. It’s time to shift the narrative. 🚀

Whether people learn and act today will shape the world we live in tomorrow. We’re on a mission to ensure everyone understands the full picture of the climate and nature crisis, and is motivated to be a part of the solution, in order to accelerate nature-centric decision-making.
On a mission to activate 100 million nature-first thinkers with sustainability training that works 🍞🍏💪 Let's talk ESG, Engagement and Capability Building!
Climate change damage will cost the world $38 trillion a year - six times more than the investment needed to limit global heating to 2 degrees.* 🤯 Despite this, I constantly hear that sustainability teams, even at leading change-making enterprises, struggle to get their voices heard and struggle to secure the budgets they need. When I see stats like the one below from our Training ROI report, it’s clear we still have a lot of work to do in bringing people on the journey. But with the right training - training that equips people with a foundational understanding but also changes hearts, minds, and behaviour at scale - it can. We created a short data report to arm sustainability leaders with the evidence to make the case for climate and sustainability training. Proof matters, and here it is (in the comments) Let’s drive change together. 💪 *Source: Maximilian Kotz, Anders Levermann, Leonie Wenz (2024): The economic commitment of climate change. Nature.

The evidence!! 🔍 The fact that people were so inspired, they wrote these comments during AimHi Earth's training with Ronke Ayoola and Sally Le Page… it’s a fantastic boost to morale when the work can feel overwhelming. ”When are you broadcasting this information on the public European TVs on a weekly basis at prime time?” - obsessed with this idea! How can we make this happen? 📺 ⁉️ ”Ronke and Sally you were literally blowing my mind. The amazing amount of knowledge in this one hour you shared goes far beyond everything I would have imagined. You are fierce!! Thank you so much!! If the whole world had only a tiny fraction of your capacity, everyone would thrive!!” ”Emailing my MP right now!” Changing hearts, minds and behaviours one training session at a time 🌱 These comments are my morale boosters: what are yours?

”What is everyone else doing to get company-wide buy-in and action on sustainability plans? What works?” Many of the sustainability leaders I speak to describe uncertainty about how best to engage their teams around their sustainability roadmap - and are keen to learn how other companies in their industry are approaching this. The State of Employee Sustainability Engagement Report (coming soon!) will answer these questions. The report has had dozens of insightful contributions already which will help bridge the gap in our collective knowledge. Do you know a sustainability leader who’d be open to completing a 5-minute survey so that we can create a more valuable resource for everyone? Comment/tag below or please DM me and I’ll send it over. 🌿 🌳
