At Alderley Group, we’re committed to doing our part for the environment. As part of our pledge to reduce our impact, we’re proud to partner with More Trees to plant a tree for every home we build. With the completion of The Vicarage, we’ve planted an additional 23 trees, bringing our total to 90 trees. These trees will capture an estimated 135 tonnes of CO₂ – equivalent to driving 500,000 miles in a diesel car over their lifetime. Each tree represents a step toward restoring ecosystems, reducing carbon emissions, and creating a lasting legacy for the communities we serve. This Christmas, we feel truly honoured to have been able to support some incredible causes, donating over £10,000 to charities and hospitals as part of our yearly Christmas Charity Campaign. One such charity, Wood Street Mission, shared the profound impact of donations on their Christmas appeal. Their Family Basics project space, usually a hub for essentials like children’s clothes, school equipment, and toys, was transformed into a workshop filled with gifts for families who needed a little extra support this festive season. The “before and after” pictures speak for themselves – an empty space now brimming with hope, kindness, and presents for families to make this Christmas brighter. It’s a humbling reminder of the real difference that community efforts can make. We’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in this transformation and are thankful for the opportunity to give back to communities that mean so much to us. Significant progress was made throughout November as we approach the final stages of Town Hill, delivering 39 Affordable Rent apartments in partnership with Torus. Brickwork is now complete up to the fifth roof level, with the lift overrun in place. Final coats of paint are progressing across all floors, and work on the communal areas is underway. Electrical cabling, switchgear installation, and HV/LV live connection works are scheduled for mid-December. The water supply is now live within the building, with meters fitted at each apartment. Scaffold removal is progressing as planned, paving the way for final works. We remain on track for internal construction works to complete before Christmas, with external works continuing into January. A huge thank you to our on-site team, subcontractors, and partners for their continued dedication in bringing Town Hill to life. Our Povey Road development continues to make strides towards delivering 45 Retirement Living homes to the Warrington community, in partnership with Housing 21. • Following fantastic progress throughout November, roof planks for Block C are completed, with Block B nearing completion despite weather delays. Low-level roof work on Block A is well underway. • Screeding across all ground floors has been completed across all blocks. • MVHR and sprinkler systems are progressing across Blocks A, B, and C. • Preparations for window installations are in progress. • Temporary power supply has been connected, enabling efficient continuation of internal works. • Remaining roof planks will be completed in December, with metal studding and kitchen installations advancing steadily. Throughout November, we made significant headway at Pomeroy Court - our Retirement Living development of 40 apartments in partnership with Housing 21. • Window fitting is now 95% complete, and fire stopping is progressing well, with 95% of apartments finished. • First and mid-fix plumbing is on track, and 15 kitchens have been installed, with more deliveries scheduled. • Mist coating, wall tiling, and balustrades are advancing across the site. • Communal area designs are finalised, and key systems, including sprinklers, are being installed. December will focus on kitchen installations, finalising fire stopping, and continuing with boundary works and internal finishes. Yesterday, the Alderley Group and Alderley Partnerships team attended the prestigious UK Housing Awards to celebrate a remarkable achievement: Hallwood Park's second nomination this year, featuring in the Excellence in Community-Led Decision Making category. 🎉 While we didn’t take home the award this time, being shortlisted amongst the best in the sector is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking behind Hallwood Park.
