    Last month we officially launched our Women's + network, our 9th employee network 🎉 We did lots to celebrate, including: 🗣️ Our Head of Learning & Development Nikki teasing our new learning module on "Your Voice, Your Power" ❤️ Caroline came from Hertility to talk about what our ASOSers have access to as part of our new benefit offering 💬 Panel discussion with our Management Committee members Rasila, Jag and Michelle on the reality of being a woman in leadership hosted by Christy 💓 We got to chat to body confidence creator, influencer and author Alex Light about all things body confidence, imposter syndrome and women's empowerment We even got to meet our Women’s+ Network core team who shared what’s coming up this year, which includes a female mentorship programme and further improving policies and benefits for women. BIG thanks to our core Women's+ Network team for all their hard work on pulling this event together 👏 #InsideASOS

    We're delighted to share that Luis Lopez -Rey has joined us as Responsible Sourcing and Quality Director 🎉   Luis has spent the last 23 years working at Zara across both Sourcing and Buying, building a best-in-class experience. He began his career at Inditex’s “state-of-the-art” warehouse while studying at university, and after completing his studies, he joined Zara’s Import-Export department at their headquarters. During his time at Inditex, Luis has focused on building scale with speed and optimising the supply chain. He has successfully reduced lead times and the number of suppliers and traders, ensuring the right global balance to support sustainability, speed, agility, and demand.   At ASOS, Luis will be leading our Responsible Sourcing and Quality teams to further deliver the very best to our fashion loving customers.   Welcome to ASOS Luis! 🥳   #InsideASOS

    Last Friday was something else 👀 Last week we celebrated the conclusion of our “Take Note” initiative with a pop-up event in London, co-hosted by us and GUAP Magazine. This non-profit initiative aimed to elevate Black-owned brands and honour Black creativity in fashion. Since our launch last month, we’ve had the pleasure of showcasing three amazing brands—Wall Street Mafia, Sanya, and Rouhi—highlighting their talent across our platforms. It was wonderful to see so many passionate people come together to support emerging talent ❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who made this event a success 🥳 #InsideASOS

    We want our customers to be whoever they want to be, but that won’t happen if our ASOSers can’t be their authentic selves 👇 That’s why we’re featuring some ASOSers that are so unapologetically themselves, we have to feature them – like "Elle". We’re not going to talk about WHAT Elle does at ASOS. We want to talk about WHY. Elle is our Localisation Project Executive, that means she’s part of how we get translations of copy onto ASOS.com. She speaks several languages, including French, English, Greek, Spanish and Dutch. Originally from Belgium, Elle had the chance to move to Greece to work after graduating with a degree in translation. There, as a Black woman, she was stereotyped and had to deal with people's behaviour towards her. Despite this and thanks to her tenacity and love of adventure, she decided to focus on the positive and immersed herself into her new life and even learned Greek. She then became a travel writer for Greece, which allowed her to open up to the rich history and culture, the hospitality of its people and the vibrant gastronomy. Eventually, she stayed in Greece for 12 years before heading to the UK ✈️ Elle's experiences shape the way she authentically shows up as an ASOSer today. She works so hard in our Race, Ethnicity & Culture network and the ASOS Interview Committee, because she knows what it feels like to not be represented and heard and doesn’t want others to feel the same. Her biggest advice for people who don’t feel like they can be whoever they want to be? She’s reminded of her morning affirmation “I love who I am.” Because you can’t be who you are if you don’t love who you are. We love who you are, Elle! #InsideASOS
