📣 WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN OUR TEAM? We are looking to appoint two new Trustees, one of which would be the position of Chair, to help build and strengthen our current Board. In particular we are looking for people with experience in any of the following fields: • Previous experience in the charity sector (previous Board experience advantageous) • Public sector experience (health/social care/benefit advice advantageous) • Financial/Business Management/HR experience • Social Media/IT skills • A passion for helping and supporting others • Knowledge/Understanding of the challenges currently faced by families experiencing financial difficulty • For the position of Chair we would be looking for someone with good leadership skills. The trustee role would include four board meetings per year in person at our premises in Hamilton. We also expect our board members to take on an element of hands on support within our premises in Hamilton in order to gain a good understanding of the day to day challenges faced. This could include coming in to our office to complete secretarial/treasurer activities and could be as little as a few hours per month depending on personal circumstances. We want our Board to reflect the diversity of the communities we work with, and value the benefits of having different experience and points of view on our Board.
