Supporting the development of the characteristics young people need to thrive in the global economy

About us

BeWorldClass is an AI powered web-based program to support the development of the characteristics young people need to thrive. Working with some of the best schools in the world, Accredited World Class Schools, we devised a framework of characteristics for primary, secondary, special and international schools. This framework to improve pupil skills and characteristics is now available to all schools through BeWorldClass. Before the release of ChatGPT, employers stated that for 75% of jobs in the UK filled by 16 – 23 year olds, skills and characteristics were more important than qualifications in determining whether the individual got the job or not. AI will only increase this trend. BeWorldClass prepares students for a job market which is focused more and more on how the individuals present themselves in terms of skills and competencies.

  • 🌟 There is truly no other platform or program for schools like this! 🌟 Developing character is becoming the most important aspect that schools support to prepare students for a thriving future. Schools urgently need a way to embed these values consistently and effectively. Schools find it difficult to ensure that their initiatives reach their holistic goals, and lack solid data backed evidence of success. Due to advances in AI technology, there is finally a solution!

  • There's been a piece of the puzzle missing for improving holistic development in schools. Character is shaped through action, practice and impact in the real world, but these actions are highly influenced by the unique contexts of each school and its students. To truly support students' holistic development, learning must be embedded through reflection. School leaders also need actionable data to measure progress and demonstrate the real impact of their initiatives.

  • The world of work is evolving, and so are the needs of students. To truly prepare young people for the future, we need to go beyond traditional academics, focusing on emotional intelligence, ethical reasoning, and social impact—into the core of education. In order to improve holistic initiatives, schools need to be able to measure the impact of time and resource allocations.

    Holistic Impact through Character Education

How do you know your students are developing your school’s values? As we approach the start of the academic year, all students and staff will be reminded of the school’s core values, probably alongside a celebration of academic results. Academic results will be analysed to the nth degree, providing rich data on different groups of students, subject areas etc, but what about your school values? Until now, I don’t believe it was possible to get meaningful data on school values that would help school leaders analyse which initiatives, subjects, activities, opportunities in and out of school (the list continues) were having most impact and where resources and time should be best deployed. This was one of the challenges we sought to tackle through BeWorldClass and innovations in AI have now made this possible and schools can interrogate data on their holistic impact. As you share and discuss school values and overall character education initiatives in your school, I encourage you to look closely at how BeWorldClass can help you. Do get in contact if you want to learn more.

    Holistic Impact through Character Education

Do you ever look at the challenges some young people face and feel overwhelmed? Since moving to the northeast, I have been thinking about how I can contribute to my local area and the more I learn about what is needed, the more overwhelming it can all feel. However, speaking to Claire Preston today was a great way to learn about the phenomenal work being done through Power of Women and the HALO Project and a wonderful reminder of the impact so many seriously committed people have had on the lives they have, and will continue to, transform. Our conversation re-energised me as it reminded me of the wonderful Margaret Mead quote: “Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.” As always with such exciting projects, there are a number of things we will go deeper on, but it is really rewarding to know that BeWorldClass can help organisations such as PoW and HALO drive forwards by helping them evidence the impact of their work in schools, and reinforce their work through the character development framework. More anon, I am sure, and thank you to Sarah Gordon for the connection!

  • The future of work is rapidly changing, accelerated by AI. Schools need to prepare students for a new world where character-based skills will be crucial. 📊 McKinsey & Company recently analysed the skills required for the future workforce by 2030. It's clear that half of those set to increase are character focused traits. https://lnkd.in/esPVARCz Schools must adopt effective methods to nurture these essential characteristics by: 🌟 Embedding character effectively 📊 Using data and evidence-based decisions on holistic development initiatives 📣 Sharing evidence with stakeholders Consider using the BeWorldClass platform to support your school in implementing these steps without requiring large amounts of teacher time.
