We wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you for your support in another exciting year, where we've seen growing demand for our sustainable coco coir substrates worldwide. We're looking forward to 2025 - a landmark for us, as we celebrate our 20-year anniversary, and will mark the milestone with events throughout the year at key trade shows, among other exciting activities! Instead of sending gifts, we donate to our incredible local children's home to help with new facilities and educational resources. We wish you all the best for the rest of 2024 and may 2025 be a fantastic and successful year! Happy growing, from the Botanicoir team.

Providing high quality coir products to our customers & working hand in hand with them to innovate & grow together.
About us
Botanicoir is a leading manufacturer of coir substrate products, with expertise in specific mixes for the horticulture industry. With our own production facilities in Sri Lanka and India, we are able to guarantee a consistent supply and traceability of high-quality products. As a globally operating company, Botanicoir is positioned at the forefront of developments within the industry. We work alongside local agronomists and growers to develop products that provide the optimum substrate solutions for specific crops, grower preferences and existing systems. Our washing and buffering facilities are second to none, and our onsite laboratories mean that we can consistently test all stages of production from raw material through to the finished product. As all of our products are made to order, we can monitor the individual requirements and ensure a product that meets expectations with regards to EC, pH and volume, among many other parameters. Through extensive research with a team of German engineers, we are proud to be the first coir producer to have facilities to mechanically dry our material, without any detrimental effects to the particles. This means that we can guarantee consistent supply throughout the year, regardless of changing and unpredictable weather patterns. Our philosophy is simple: Providing products of the highest quality to our customers and working hand in hand with them to innovate and grow together. Trust, transparency, innovation and collaboration are the heart of everything that we do. We believe that through these values not only can we support our customers, but also achieve the common goal of caring for our planet and its communities.

Celebrating 100 years of Legro! 🎉 A huge milestone for the Swinkels family and a legacy of dedication to excellence. To mark this occasion, we gifted them an illustration by London-based artist Alice Nyong, inspired by an archive image of Legro’s journey. Here’s to Sjellie and Franc Swinkels, 4th generation owners and our valued partners since 2020. Cheers to the next century of innovation and partnership!
