✨ That’s a Wrap! ✨ As 2024 winds down, we’re taking a well-deserved break to recharge and plan even more heartwarming moments for the new year. 💌 We’ll be out of office from Monday, 23rd December, and back with fresh ideas and plenty of love on Monday, 13th January 2025. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us this year—your handmade cards have brought so much joy to children in hospitals. 💕 We can’t wait to see all the creativity you’ll share with us in the new year! 🎄✨ Christmas has truly arrived with Cards for Bravery! This festive season, our dedicated team has been busy spreading joy and warmth to those who need it most. 💌🌟 📦 We've partnered with Chronic Youth CIC to send out 15 heartfelt care packages, touching the lives of many with thoughtfulness and care. 🎁 With over 3,250 Christmas cards distributed, including 1,500 to Christmas for CAMHS, we've made sure that our messages of hope and bravery reach far and wide. 🏥 Our efforts extended to three hospitals and a hospice—PAH, Queen’s Hospital, Northwick Park, and Little Havens Hospice—where we delivered over 200 packages and gifts, bringing smiles and festive cheer to both patients and staff. This season is all about giving and being thankful, and we at Cards for Bravery are grateful to be able to make a difference. Thank you to everyone who supported and joined us in this journey. 🌟 A Year of Incredible Impact! 🌟 As we start to wrap up another amazing year at Cards for Bravery, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to every single one of you who contributed to making this year truly special. 💌✨ Thanks to your incredible generosity and creativity, we’ve reached new heights: 🎉 We sent over 6,000 cards to courageous children, marking a 20% increase from last year! 💌 You amazing supporters sent in a staggering 7,500 cards—your creativity has touched so many hearts. 🎁 We crafted 6 personalised bravery packs, each tailored to bring joy and comfort to these brave young souls. 💰 Through your unwavering support and a generous we raised a phenomenal £18,000 this year, plus received a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery! Every card, every penny, and every shared moment of kindness goes a long way in spreading joy and bravery. On the 23rd November, some of our volunteers attended RAREfest24 to host a card making table making cards for those affected by rare disease. We had the most amazing time connecting with the rare disease community and seeing all the fabulous cards they made! 🎄 Spreading Holiday Cheer! 🎄 Our JLL Leadership team at Portico, along with colleagues from 20 Fenchurch Street, spent a heart-warming afternoon creating handmade Christmas cards for children in hospitals. Thanks to OnHand • the impact platform, we connected with the wonderful charity, Cards for Bravery. We had an amazing time crafting these cards and hope they bring smiles to the children's faces.
