We are thrilled to share the progress of our recent renovations at our Liskeard facility, including the installation of 272 PV solar modules as part of our commitment to sustainable operations. 🔋 Since the system went live on 3rd October, we’ve already generated 5.08MWh of electricity, with 10% (0.5MWh) exported back to the National Grid. The remaining 4.58MWh has powered our operations, covering 28.5% of our total energy consumption in just six weeks! 🌱 Environmental Impact: Our solar panels are projected to save 20.94 tonnes of CO2 annually. To date, we’ve prevented 986kg of CO2 emissions, equivalent to driving a petrol car an impressive 14,000 km! These savings will only grow as we move into the sunnier months. Phase one is complete, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
