🌟Diversity is what makes us Great 🌟Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives are under attack, yet we know that diversity makes us stronger. ➡️Would you like to partner with us at Catalyse Change CIC to help address two of the biggest sustainability challenges: gender and racial inequities and ensure that your DEI commitments remain strong & have real impact? 💚 We run sustainability empowerment and green career programmes for young women aged 18-30, which help address these challenges: 🙏Women are key to effective climate action, yet they remain underrepresented in leadership roles. Currently, less than a third of sustainability leadership positions are held by women, and the growth in women entering green jobs is three times too slow to close the gender gap. 🙏Representation of people of colour and racially or ethnically minoritised groups is only 4.5% across the environmental sector. We are committed to increasing racial diversity in sustainability careers. Last year, over 80% of our places were provided as free sponsored bursaries to young women of colour (41%) and those facing economic hardship (63%). ➡️We are inviting businesses to partner with us this year to make a real impact. Supporting our programme enables young women to develop skills, confidence, and connections. Your organisation can get involved by: 💚Encouraging employees to become mentors, supporting and inspiring the next generation of changemakers. 💚Upskilling young employees by enrolling them in our sustainability empowerment and green careers programmes. 💚Sponsor bursaries to enable young women from all backgrounds to thrive in sustainable careers. ➡️To find out more get in touch with Traci Lewis, traci@catalysechange.com - to receive a copy of our latest partnership slide deck. We would be delighted for any referrals and introductions to anyone interested in working with us. Thank you. 🙏 ➡️ For the full story check out our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/eaNmhAnK #partnershipopportunity #genderequity #racialequity #sustainability #careerdevelopment #genderequality #DEI #diversity

Want to work in sustainability but unsure how? There are more options than you might think. From mentoring for Catalyse Change CIC and wise words I've heard from STEMAZING, "you can't be what you can't see". I am fortunate to know fantastic women all contributing in their own way to a more sustainable future. I'd really encourage you to check out: 🌱 Cordelia Hughes who promotes sustainable farming practices through practical projects like soil health research. 🌍 Alice Bond who advises on global policy for greener buildings. 📈 Anna Fountain who analyses and reports on cross-government digital sustainability data and works internally to improve supplier sustainability performance. 🌽 Tatum Hodgkinson MA who works in agrifood production and sourcing at commodity level to deliver positive outcomes for people, nature and climate. 🚴♀️ Hari Milburn, a commercial interior designer that loves using sustainable materials in her work as well as organising Trash Cat events for cyclists to help make trails trash free. A younger me didn't know a lot of these were career options. Who do you know, or what other sustainability roles have you seen that blow your mind for even existing? Know any beaver habitat conservationists?
