Project Spotlight! We’re pleased to showcase the ongoing demolition works at Scudamore Road in Leicester 📍 The project scope includes internal soft strip, asbestos removal, and the demolition of the existing office buildings to the north. Our site team is currently making great strides with the internal soft strip, as well as removing roofing materials. Throughout the process, we are also ensuring regular waste and metal clearing on site. Site Visit 📷👷 Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a site visit for a group of students from Shrewsbury College’s College Ready course! During the visit, our director Jonathan and Senior Project Manager Mick provided insights into the operations of Cawarden and the demolition industry. They took the opportunity to showcase the various roles that make up our demolition team, as well as explain our involvement in Shropshire Council’s “Smithfield Riverside Project.” It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the next generation and share our expertise. Project completed 🤝✅ We’re pleased to announce the successful completion of the demolition and site clearance at the Stourport County Buildings on Foundry Street. Through a carefully planned programme, our site team managed the phased demolition of multiple structures, beginning with the drill tower and fire station buildings, followed by the library & health centre, police station, and coroner's court in subsequent phases. Additional works encompassed the removal of slabs and foundations, as well as on-site crushing and backfilling to prepare the site for future development. Our team has efficiently wrapped up the project, and the site has now been handed back to our client for the next phase of development. #Cawarden | #Demolition | #SpecialistContractor | #Stourport

Project update👷🚧 Significant progress has been made with the demolition works at the former Riverside Shopping Centre! With the pedestrian bridges having been removed, our site team have recently moved onto removing the slabs and foundations across the site. Once the site has been cleared, work can begin on the first phase of Shropshire Council’s Smithfield Riverside project. 🚧 Exciting News! 🚧 Cawarden has been appointed to deliver the demolition works at the Guildhall Shopping centre and derelict former Co-op Department store, on behalf of Stafford Borough Council. This significant project marks another major step in Stafford Borough Council’s ambitious plans to transform the area.
