Yesterday Claire Connelly and I had the pleasure of attending the Dream Placement Selection Event. It was a great opportunity to engage with students and local employers on important topics such as leadership, career and study aspirations, and what truly matters to students and their future. During the day we interviewed 8 students, and were very impressed by their enthusiasm to learn and grow whilst pursuing their studies. We are very much looking forward to welcoming one of these students to Armstrong Watson in February for their Dream Placement. At yesterdays Dream Placement Select Event, we saw 16–18-year-olds stepping up in real-life interviews, bringing their creativity, passion, and leadership potential to the table. It’s incredible to think that in this journey, the students aren’t just gaining valuable experience—they’re also giving something truly valuable back to the organisations they’re joining: new perspectives, bold ideas, and a fresh way of thinking.
