    Helping Impact Scale

🚀 Looking for founders for a new generation of impact unicorns! 🚀 As most of you know, I’ve always been interested in making the world a better place. But about two years ago, I realized I had significantly underestimated how much a single individual could do. I learned about an organization called Charity Entrepreneurship/AIM, which consistently incubates charities that are world-leading in the number of lives they improve per dollar donated. They managed that by looking at the results of an organization rather than the intention, rigorously evaluating their impact on the world, and relentlessly pursuing the best possible strategies (even if that sometimes meant shutting organizations down for being good, but not the best). They developed a research process that allowed them to find ideas for charities that might not seem ‘sexy’, but would be able to create highly scalable and cost-effective interventions that could improve thousands of lives. This got me thinking about what would happen if we applied this mindset to (for-profit) businesses. Having worked in the field of social enterprises for a decade, I started to wonder how rigorously we really did evaluate the impact that we were having, and what kind of business ideas there might be out there if we optimized for extremely high-leverage solutions. Based on this, we developed a new incubation program for highly impactful businesses. And to make these businesses a success, we are looking for founders. Founders who want to build businesses that unmistakably make the biggest difference they possibly can. Founders who are willing to change course if the data says we could do something even better. Founders who want to pioneer a new way of approaching impactful enterprise. We’ve already found 10 world-class founders for our upcoming January cohort, but we are looking for 10 more. If you know anyone considering starting a business, and eager to make an impact in doing so, please refer them to me! Applications only take 25 minutes and close 15th of September, you can find the link here: https://lnkd.in/eKbPFgdz A big thank you to everyone who has helped me in the design of this program and provided invaluable input & inspiration Rob Konterman Federico Speziali Gert van Vugt Joey Savoie Sanderine van Odijk Sjir Hoeijmakers🔸 Don Ritzen Trish Kennelly Devon Fritz🔸Judith Rensing Jan-Willem van Putten Rutger Bregman amongst many others
