A hospital group with a mission to make healthcare better for patients.

About us

Circle Health Group is the UK’s largest private hospital group, with more than 50 locations nationwide. We combine clinical excellence with peaceful surroundings, where patients are always treated as individuals. People are at the heart of everything we do – whether that’s our talented, passionate staff or the people they care for. Patients always come first, and when it comes to looking after you, being ‘good enough’ never is. We are investing millions of pounds into making our hospitals the best they can be. This funding is boosting our facilities and technology, as well as nurturing the amazing people who work for us. The investment programme saw us named Private Hospital Group of the Year in 2021. In 2021 Circle was featured in Health & Social Care’s 20 Best Companies to Work For, and also placed in the Top 25 Best Big Companies to work for. Since 2019 we have held the Silver Award in The Ministry of Defence's Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. We offer more than 500 different treatments across 60 specialties, and work with a network of over 6,000 renowned consultants. When you choose to go private with us, we’ll take the time to get to know you and your individual needs, building a bespoke treatment plan that puts you front and centre. Each year we welcome around 296,000 inpatients and 1.7 million outpatients. They trust us to provide the quality, expert-led treatment they deserve. And with 98% of them saying they’ll recommend us to their loved ones, it’s clear we do just that. If you need treatment and you want to speak to a specialist, we’re here for you. Get in touch today and we aim to see you within 48 hours. Alternatively, if you are looking to join a dynamic team in a supportive environment, why not take a look at our extensive range of roles in clinical and non-clinical settings? Get in touch today!

  • Last night Circle Health Group were honoured to be presented with the prestigious Order of St Panteleimon Award by His Eminence Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, the Eparchial Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family in London.   The event took place at UCL and brought together organisation’s such as the British Red Cross and Ukrainian Medical Charity that worked alongside our teams and hospitals to provide desperately needed medical aid to Ukraine.   St Panteleimon is the patron saint of physicians and midwives and the award is recognised as the highest honour for Ukrainian medical professionals. This is the first time that a British organisation has been a recipient of the award.   In attendance to receive the medal, were Paolo Pieri, Dr Massoud Fouladi and members of our procurement team who worked tirelessly to collect, organise and load hundreds of pallets to six teaching hospitals in Ukraine.   Our work to support the medical community in Ukraine would not have been possible without the support and generosity of our suppliers. Also in attendance were representatives from Toffeln and JUNE MEDICAL who were key partners throughout.   Paolo Pieri, CEO of Circle Health Group, said:   “It is an honour for Circle Health Group to receive this national award for our work to support vulnerable patients and hospitals. My thanks to the Order of St Panteleimon, our hospital, procurement team, Dr Massoud Fouladi and our suppliers for their support getting emergency aid to where it was needed most.”   CC: Angela Spang, Harry Turner & Oksana Lovochkina. The certificate has ornate red borders and gold background.   Image 4: a presentation screen displays the title "Award for professionalism and mercy" and "Order of Saint Panteleimon" with the subtitle "Honor of medical profession!" • We welcome the Government’s announcement and have long championed the right for patients to choose where and when they have their treatment delivered. As the UK’s largest private hospital operator, we know first-hand how important utilising all available diagnostic and operating theatre capacity, is for slashing waiting times. We support putting choice at the heart of the Government’s strategy. NHS patients need to know they can access NHS care free at our hospitals, with the hospital simply receiving the same fee as any NHS organisation. We are proud to work in partnership with the NHS and have a long-track record of delivering outstanding care at scale. We look forward to working with the Government to bring down waiting lists across the NHS. Commenting on the announcement, Paolo Pieri, CEO of Circle Health Group, said: “It's so important that patients are fully informed about their right to choose NHS care at any hospital - whether independent or NHS. The Government’s drive to enhance patient choice is something we welcome, and we encourage all patients when they visit their GP to ask what choice of hospital is available to them.” Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN) The below description is for viewers with a visual impairment. • We are almost at the end of another remarkable year for Circle Health Group so to wrap-up our Celebration Week, we wanted to showcase just some of the major upgrades and changes that have taken place at our network of hospitals.   Over the past twelve months, we delivered substantial investment in equipment with The Chiltern Hospital, The Alexandra Hospital and Ross Hall Hospital all benefitting from updated mammography capabilities. At The Hampshire Clinic, the CT and MRI capabilities were replaced, Bath Clinic received a refurbishment of its imaging department, and The Manor Hospital saw their physio and minor ops facilities upgraded. We've also installed a new static MRI machine at Sarum Road Hospital, upgraded Goring Hall Hospital's parking facilities with EV charging points, and unveiled The Atrium at The Ridgeway Hospital - a welcoming space designed around our patients' needs including enhanced waiting areas and modern consulting rooms.   Looking forward into the New Year, we are excited to welcome Circle Cheshire Clinic and Inverness Outpatients to the Circle family. • As we approach the latter end of our Celebration Week, we are reflecting on some (but not all) important moments of recognition from 2024 that showcased our commitment to excellence in healthcare.   In the past twelve months, Circle Health Group was awarded HealthInvestor's 'Private Hospital Group of the Year' (for an unprecedented fourth year in a row), LaingBuisson's 'Hospital Group of the Year', and, just last week, we received the prestigious Order of St Panteleimon Award (in recognition of our collective efforts to provide desperately needed medical aid to Ukraine). At a local level, The Duchy Hospital and The Droitwich Spa Hospital both achieved 'Good' CQC (Care Quality Commission) ratings, Goring Hall Hospital and The Blackheath Hospital celebrated their 30th and 40th anniversaries serving their local community, and several special guests helped our hospitals to unveil state-of-the-art diagnostics units. And, there is so much more to look forward to in 2025 including the 90th anniversary of Mount Alvernia Hospital! • Having initially been told, "You'll never run again", Karl Hick attended Three Shires Hospital for a second opinion on his knee injury. A meeting with Mr Pierre Nasr changed everything, and despite the odds, he went on to represent Great Britain and secured a silver medal at the World Masters Athletics 2024. "The combination of Mr Nasr's superb skill, the team at Three Shires, and some hard work meant I was back on track faster than expected. It was a special feeling to know that I could compete in Sweden." Congratulations to Karl on his remarkable win – a testament to why you should never give up on your dreams.
