Circular Do Tank reposted this
Looking forward to speaking alongside Steve Gilchrist on the Circular Do Tank and our Storage and Logistics workstream...as well as hearing from an exciting line up at the ASBP Reuse summit!
In one year the global construction industry emits approximately 10 gigatonnes of CO2 – the equivalent of around 30 million Boeing 747 jets - and we cannot achieve #netzero targets without using #circulareconomy strategies and solutions to reduce #embodiedcarbon. The ASBP is leading a targeted effort to champion a circular economy through its #ReuseNow campaign. This initiative promotes the reuse of construction materials and aims to enable uptake of reuse through collaboration and the creation of practical resources. Our annual ASBP Reuse Summit puts a spotlight on the leading organisations in the materials reuse field. This in-person event provides a valuable opportunity for learning, knowledge sharing, and networking, with the aim of driving greater adoption of reuse practices within the construction industry. Join us in Thursday 14th November at 13:00-17:30, in-person at the Building Centre London.
