📢 We are delighted to share two very exciting updates from the Clyde Hydrogen Systems team! Today we are proud to announce a milestone technical breakthrough in our decoupled electrolysis process as we have successfully produced hydrogen at pressures exceeding 100 bar using our scaled-up catalytic hydrogen generator. This achievement is testament to our innovative approach to matching intermittent renewable energy with hydrogen production, addressing one of today's most significant challenges in the hydrogen sector. Alongside our technical breakthrough, we are also launching a new £5m funding round designed to speed up the commercialisation of our pioneering technology! Commenting on this exciting news, our CEO, James Peck, said: “This technical milestone validates years of dedicated research and development. It demonstrates our ability to scale lab-based innovations into commercially viable technology. With this funding round, we aim to propel Clyde Hydrogen towards delivering a production-ready system and playing a key role in the UK’s renewable energy future.” Read more here from EU-Startups David Cendón Garcia https://lnkd.in/d_pXrXyu

📢 "We've decoupled the hydrogen production from energy supply, so you can actually release hydrogen at different times to your energy needs, which makes it very, very good for green energy...and through that catalytic reaction, we’re able to release the hydrogen at pressure. Producing hydrogen at pressure is another key advantage economically."
