Fingers crossed for Sonam Norbu (PhD) who is nominated for his work with The Crichton Trust. The Trust and The University of Glasgow entered into a Knowledge Transfer Partnership in 2022 to review energy systems and processes at The Crichton campus in Dumfries. Sonam, originally from Bhutan, is employed by the partners as the KTP Research Associate and is tasked with developing a dynamic energy audit model of The Crichton. In his role, Sonam has been focusing on identifying realistic decarbonisation pathways to NetZero and exploring the implementation of a multi-vectoral smart local energy monitoring system for The Crichton. Findings from the research have helped support the development and implementation of a decarbonisation Roadmap for The Crichton.
