We're delighted to share that Cockwells has secured £1.88M from the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Good Growth Fund Programme, managed by Cornwall Council. This incredible funding will allow us to upgrade our Southwest Shipyard at Ponsharden, Falmouth doubling our production capacity and reducing customer delivery times to under 12 months. But that's not all! This investment will also create 38 new jobs in the local area, bringing more opportunities to our community. Let’s meet them: 🚤The Duchy 25 – the dynamic little sister of the Duchy Motor Launches range, with an outboard engine and an open-air design. 🚤The Duchy 45 – the largest Duchy we have built to date, this luxurious model provides plenty of room for family and friends. 🚤The Hardy 45EU – the first of its kind. This Hardy Motor Yacht will be rugged, reliable and contemporary, complete with a flybridge and open helm position. 🚤The 9.8m Limousine – this sumptuous tender has been designed exclusively for a renowned international client, forming an integral part of an ultra-luxe yachting experience. Day 11 of the Cockwells Christmas Countdown, a series in which we have taken the time to reflect on our highlights and milestones of 2024. A final highlight of the year was when we welcomed our second cohort of boatbuilding apprentices to the company in October. Day 8 of the Cockwells Christmas Countdown and we’re recapping some of our best moments of the year so far. Today we’re taking it back to the delivery of our first Duchy 27 across the pond in the United States.
