The College of Operating Department Practitioners is the Professional body for Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs). ODPs are registered Allied Health Professionals and are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The college provides support to its members in aspects of Professional, Clinical Excellence, Educational, Leadership, and Sustainability and Social Value. The college has membership on national committees, advisory groups, and responds to consultations set by government and other professional and registrant bodies.

***Calling all ODP's, OT's, Radiographers and Social Workers looking for a new career direction for 2025!*** I'd never considered working in apprenticeships when I took the opportunity to be the first ever Skills Reviewer in Allied and Community Health and can I honestly say, I'm so glad I did. Watching our 1st ever ODP apprentices graduate this year was one of the proudest moments of my career to date.
