Led by Curo Industrial & Innovation, a division of Curo Construction, this redevelopment is set to revitalise West Cross Industrial Park in Brentford, delivering a modern, 90,000 sq ft industrial unit. The new build will feature a four-storey office space with a striking full-height curtain wall, blending contemporary design with art deco-inspired details that honour the site’s heritage. 🌿 The project prioritises sustainability, aiming for a BREEAM Excellent rating and EPC A+, incorporating PV panels, rooflights, and an enhanced landscape design. Firestone LDN will offer modern office interiors, a spacious service yard, secure gated access, and dedicated parking for vehicles and cycles, supporting a functional and efficient workspace. The redevelopment also respects the site's history, preserving Grade II-listed elements like the steps and cast iron railings from the former Firestone Factory, adding a unique character to the project. 🎨 Bringing Heritage to Life at South Molton Street ✨   Our team at South Molton Street rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on plaster workshop! Specialist Impera Conservation kicked things off, carefully peeling back layers of paint to reveal the beautiful, intricate details of the original corbels – like hidden treasures brought to light! 🔍💎   With the mould ready, Reiss Burrell and Hannah Kelsall PgDip ARB took over as the ‘craft pros’ 🧑🎨👩🎨. Layer by layer, they applied wet plaster by hand, building up the details with precision until the mould was full. After a 15-20 minute cure, there it was - a perfect replica of the original corbel!   It was a rewarding experience, blending heritage, creativity, and teamwork (and maybe a little plaster in our hair) – and we couldn’t be prouder of the results! 👏💪   #Craftsmanship #HeritageRestoration #Teamwork #SouthMoltonStreet #CuroHeritage
