  • We’re excited to announce a groundbreaking enhancement to the DataSapien Orchestrator: Loyalty Rewards for Zero-Party Data. 🟠 The DataSapien platform embeds into existing customer applications, providing a private, personal AI that helps them get their jobs done far better. 🟠 This new feature enables loyalty programs to incorporate existing monetary, point, or discount value exchanges as part of a data-sharing customer journey – all while maintaining the ethical, transparent principles that define the DataSapien platform. 🟠 The DataSapien SDK, already a key new component for loyalty apps, now seamlessly integrates with existing loyalty value systems such as points, cash, discounts, or coupon offers. These rewards become part of a Data/ Insight/ Intent Value Exchange, creating a win-win for brands and their customers. 🟠 Here’s how it works: 🔵 Customer Empowerment: Customers use the loyalty app (powered with the DataSapien SDK) to complete a task or gather data that helps them get a job done, using Jobs-To-Be-Done frameworks. This forms Zero-Shared Data. 🔵 Personal Intelligence Processing: The SDK analyzes the data on the customer’s device to produce actionable outputs, such as information, inferences, insights, and intents. 🔵 Ethical Data Sharing: Customers can choose to ‘license’ these inferred insights as consented Zero-Party Data – in some instances receiving loyalty points or other rewards and value in exchange.    🟠 *A World-First for Loyalty Programs*  This innovation adds another dimension to DataSapien’s Private Personalization platform, which is designed to orchestrate ethical, customer-centric journeys with #ZeroPartyData and #ZeroSharedData. By integrating rewards into the data exchange process, loyalty programs create deeper trust, stronger engagement, and unparalleled value for their members. With DataSapien, loyalty brands are no longer just providers of rewards—they become partners in their customers’ journeys. The result? A richer, more personalised experience that strengthens loyalty while ensuring privacy and transparency.    Hamit Hasanhocaoğlu, DataSapien’s Chief Architect, stated:  “While loyalty programs are increasingly shifting towards experiential and job-focused outcomes, monetary rewards - such as points, discounts, and cash -remain a cornerstone of most initiatives. This new DataSapien functionality seamlessly integrates with existing rewards systems, enabling brands to incorporate monetary incentives into participatory customer journeys, powered by our Private Personalization capabilities.” 🟠 Ready to Redefine Loyalty?  This is just one more way that DataSapien continues to lead the charge in ethical customer data orchestration. Get in touch today to learn how Rewards can transform your loyalty program and take your customer experience to the next level. (contact link in comments)

It was a pleasure to do an interview on #PrivatePersonalisation and #zeroshareddata with Jasper Hamill for Machine (Note: Machine is a very cool new tech publication with a mission to share profits with both writers *and* readers.) A few highlights: 🟠 " We developed the concept of zero share data to ensure that your data remains stored locally on your smartphone or within a personal domain. Instead of sending your data elsewhere, we bring AI to your data. 🟠 "This approach ensures data remains in the control of users. Personalisation is achieved by moving the algorithms to your device, so you get the benefits without having to share sensitive information. 🟠 "For large corporations, holding data is becoming increasingly burdensome. They want to deliver better personalisation and solve problems more effectively, but they don’t want to manage or store sensitive data. For example, something as simple as your date of birth doesn’t need to leave your device. 🟠 "A Supermarket doesn’t need (or want) to know your exact birth date - it only need's your age or general age category, such as 45-50, to tailor its services. This information can be processed locally, and only the necessary insights are shared. Simultaneously, the brands mobile app can still securely hold the date of birth to use for on-device #privatepersonalization of services. 🟠 "The broader vision of zero shared data is ambitious but essential. In a globally connected world with eight billion people online, we need governance and agency to protect individual sovereignty while enabling participation in communities, societies, and economies. 🟠 "To achieve this, we must empower individuals with control over their data. The digital economy thrives on personal data, so giving people the ability to decide what they share - and what they don’t - ensures a more equitable and participatory system. This shift will lead to better societies and stronger economies, as everyone can contribute without compromising privacy. #zeropartydata #martech #privacy #innovation #AI #firstpartydata #personalAI #customerempowerment Jasper Hamill

Whatever your thoughts on #SamAltman and OpenAI, it's worth catching up on his future vision - which is... GPT Ubiquity (no suprise). Same here, BUT with one major change. SMALL Language Models (SLMs) will become ubiquitous rather than LLMs (which will also play a big part of course). Think about it the same way that Compute has shifted from huge MainFrames the size of rooms, to relatively tiny devices that we have in our pockets (mobile phones). Anyhoo, here's a quote grab from the transcript*: Interviewer: "By the way, do you, do you fear that all this becomes commoditized as a result?" Sam Altman: "I mean, if, if, if it seems like, not, I'm not saying anybody can do it, but it just seems like, what is your advantage, and by the way, what is your disadvantage? "I think the technology itself, to, to the degree you believe deep learning is just like, sort of like a law of physics, and that we discovered an important new piece of science, yes, that part will be done by lots of people. "Everybody has their analogy for what AI is like, you know, I saw Sundar's, and I, he talks about it, like, electricity, a whole bunch of others, people talk about, like, the Industrial Revolution, some people talk about, like, the Renaissance, the one I like is the transistor. "There was a thing, a scientific discovery, that a few companies discovered first, that transformed our society. That scaled unbelievably well, like, you know, when people talk about scaling laws, the best analogy for that, I think, is Moore's law, and that came to be used by a lot of companies in all of the world, "Like, look at all the things in this room with transistors, but we don't think about that as a transistor device, and we don't think about Google as a transistor company, even though they wouldn't be here without one, and I kind of think that's what's going to happen with AI, uhm, there will be shockingly capable models, widely available" (*the NYTimes switched off captions - so I used Loom) https://lnkd.in/ekwQBQCZ

I'm not sure that "everything is going digital" is the most profound statement I've ever made 🙃- but it was great to be on the WGSN #LivesOfTomorrow PodCast with Carla Buzasi. We delve into some huge shifts underway: 🔵 The promise of deeply personal and privacy-preserving marketing is finally being delivered. 🔵 Brands *partnering* with customers, engaging with their own data to fuel personal, private AI to get their jobs done. 🔵 More Trust and less hacks/fraud through decentralisation and new advances in human-centric Identity, including wallets. 🔵 The emergence of "Domain Apps" that serve customers by getting *all* jobs done for us across an entire domain (travel, home, nutrition, finance, entertainment, Automotive etc.) 🔵 Oh, and shopping for socks... Thanks for inviting me on the show WGSN. 🙌 🎤 🙂 #Personalization #Personalisation #Innovation #AI #PersonalAI #Privacy #zeropartydata #JTBD

Innovation and iteration go hand in hand. So a quick update from me on why we’re renaming Domain Super Apps to Domain Apps. (link in comments). It's all about clarity. We realised that the word “Super” often brings to mind broad, catch-all platforms like Asian-style Super Apps. But Domain Apps are different—laser-focused on solving customer needs across an industry or customer sector. They're designed to streamline customer journeys by consolidating related tasks, leveraging the brand's deep domain expertise and untapped customer trust. Trust that's often been earned and built over decades of getting their customer's jobs done. Combining DataSapien’s #PrivatePersonalisation technology with #JobsToBeDone (#JTBD) frameworks, Domain Apps allow brands to leverage their expertise and customer trust to deliver seamless, personal experiences. Domain Apps will empower first-mover brands to dominate their sectors, deepen customer loyalty, and expand into new markets by meeting customer needs in smarter, more connected ways. Brand-provided Domain Apps will form the next 4-5 year #MarTech cycle - and provide an essential bridge to the possibility of mass-market personal AI Apps - which may follow toward the end of the decade (more on this in another post). For now, stay tuned as we continue driving innovation with Domain Apps! #Personalization #Privacy #DomainApps #CustomerExperience #Innovation HT to Dr. Michael Becker Geoff Smith and others for the candid feedback. Peter Cranstone - hopefully, this removes some of the App/ #SuperApp/ #DomainApp confusion. I'll let Jamie Smith💡write more about #UltraApps 😉
