We are an alternative provision academy located in Pride Park in Derby City. We are proud to provide high-quality curriculum offer to the pupils of Derby, and a second opportunity to succeed in education. Our objectives at KS3 are to re-engage pupils with the curriculum, develop resilience, and successfully re-integrate them back into mainstream education. At KS4 our aims are to prepare students for the next stage of their post-16 journey equipped with the required qualifications and experiences. Our vision is to empower our students and staff with determination, pride and ambition to reach their full potential.

Not everyday is like this, what a fantastic experience for our year 10 students. Learning how to administer emergency first aid and using cutting equipment that the fire service use on emergency vehicles. Our year 10s have been very busy this week! They have been at Ascot Drive fire station as part of their Yes Program. Our students have been learning 'on the job' about: PPE and safety using the hoses and ladders , and even using appropriate breathing apparatus to escape a smoke filled building. #FireService #WorkPlacement #FireService #Derbyshire #Enrichment #Curriculum #SkillsForLife

Last week, KS3 visited @stonebridgecityfarm to pet and feed animals there, as well as working on their photography skills.
