A little look behind the scenes of something we've been working on for over a year now. In addition to providing pro bono PR to spread the word to those who would benefit, we're also very proud to support our local community pantry initiative by getting stuck in with the heavy lifting 💪 Every other Thursday we shut our laptops early and roll up our sleeves to help the amazing team behind Share Wokingham. We carry boxes, we chat with visitors, and we help set up some of the best looking fruit and veg displays in the area featuring a bounty of fresh produce donated by supermarkets and local businesses that would otherwise go to waste. Nothing beats face-to-face time. Yesterday, we hosted a press lunch in London for our client, ProCook bringing together six influential journalists from leading media outlets: The Times, The Mirror, The Sun, Red Magazine UK, T3, and Ideal Home. This lunch gave ProCook the opportunity to share exciting updates and provide an exclusive preview of what’s coming up—especially as we head into the peak shopping season. Myself and my team at DMC PR and Clive Tyldesley set up a Food Bank in our local village Arborfield with support from Claire Revie who runs Share Wokingham. Food donations from Brakes UK Lidl GB GAIL's Artisan Bakery Squire's Garden Centres Wenzel's the Bakers Ltd. We pick up food that would go to waste and redistribute it to those who need some extra help. Lots of people ask me what sort of food do we get - you would be AMAZED!! Here is what we were able to offer to our visitors today 😋🙌
