  • Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust is excited to announce the appointment of new Chief Executive, Mr Paul Crofts, who will officially begin his role in November 2024. Crofts steps into the position following the early retirement of Mrs Traci Dix-Williams, who has served as CEO for nearly nine years. During her time, the Trust has flourished, growing its business, enhancing its profile, and winning several prestigious awards for its projects, customer service, and volunteer programs. • Did you know we offer corporate volunteering opportunities? As well as our own incredible team, we offer a number of days per year to companies and organisations to undertake their volunteering days and team challenges with us. They really help out with some of our bigger projects such as painting, canal clean ups, weeding, and wrapping Christmas presents, and always end the day with a boat trip in to our limestone mines and caverns. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic group from Kier Group. They helped us with gardening and tidying up our site, and even tried their hand at magnet fishing! Volunteering as a group is a great way to get involved for the first time or if you are looking at doing something new. If your group would like to undertake one of our challenge days please get in touch – you can email Rhianna@dctt.org.uk or give us a call on 0121 557 6265 for more information. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/euPKseNC
