UKFT is delighted to launch the ‘Innovations in Textile and Apparel Dyeing’ report, which highlights the latest global innovations in dyeing within the textile and apparel supply chain. The aim of this report is to encourage innovators, brands, retailers and manufacturers to work together so that the industry can collectively achieve our environmental impact reduction goals. We believe that with its significant social, economic and environmental impact both domestically and internationally, the UK is uniquely positioned to drive this sustainability transformation. Tomorrow, Georgia Parker, Frans Jooste, Hollie Stringer and Coline Morise from the Fashion for Good team will visit the Future Fabrics Expo by The Sustainable Angle in London to connect with best-practice mills and suppliers of sustainably and responsibly produced textiles and materials 🤝🚀 We are cohosting an Impact Investor Day with Canopy, where our Investment Manager, Frans Jooste, will give a keynote on impact investing. Following that, our innovators — Modern Synthesis, Algreen Ltd., Epoch Biodesign, Balena, SEFF, DyeRecycle — will participate in the pitching segment. Frans will also participate in a panel discussion from 12-12:45 pm alongside Nicole Rycroft from Canopy, focusing on how we can overcome price premiums and scale next-gen materials Later, our Innovation Director, Georgia Parker, will join a panel on scaling circular systems from 2:30-3:15 pm, unpacking the levers needed to build a fibre to fibre ecosystem.
