About us

E2 Services achieve significant energy, cost & carbon savings via intelligent procurement, aM&T, demand management, BMS controls optimisation & compliance services. In order to achieve significant energy savings for our clients, we combine procurement, reduction projects and controls to create a successful holistic business approach. By combining these three elements, the sum is greater than the parts. This allows our clients to benefit from ‘Total Energy Management’, resulting in the maximum savings for the minimum investment. Our team of specialists has operated within this market for over a decade and offers a wealth of experience in achieving our client’s energy savings goals. As an organisation, we identify, scope, project manage and validate all of our recommended improvement projects, with the more technical aspects of the work such as BMS & aM&T systems being delivered by our highly experienced in-house teams. Once savings are achieved, we ensure they remain in place through our in-house Energy Bureau & BMS maintenance facility. Owned entirely by the management team, our clients value our concentrated in-house expertise and our absolute independence from product providers and energy suppliers. We are currently trusted to deliver savings for Microsoft, Northwood Investors, Skype, London Business School, Bizspace & The Savoy to name a few. If you have ambitious energy saving objectives for your organisation, please contact us to discuss how we can support you.

We are thrilled to say we have been awarded a grant of almost £13million to help hit our target of being net zero by 2030. The grant from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, which is funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, and delivered by Salix Finance Limited, will help towards the cost of installing around 1,300 new solar panels and connecting nine Coventry University buildings to the city's district energy network. It is hoped the proposals could reduce the Group’s carbon emissions by more than 1,300 tonnes per year – more than a fifth of its annual carbon emissions arising from the use of fossil fuels. Professor John Latham CBE, Vice-Chancellor of Coventry University, said: “For many years Coventry University has been taking positive strides towards our target of net zero and this grant from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme will help us with the next steps along that road. “Sustainable development and social responsibility are central to what we stand for and we are working to speed up society’s journey to net zero and clean growth through our excellent research and education. "While we are rightly proud of the work and research we do to help tackle those issues nationally and internationally, being able to make a difference on our own campus is just as important.” Read more on this fantastic news here: https://bit.ly/3UWVQvQ

IMPORTANT UPDATE regarding ESOS Phase 3 compliance: Whilst the compliance deadline is 5th June the Environment Agency is delaying enforcement action on non-compliance. Organisations have until 6th August to submit their compliance notification, as long as they register their account on the compliance portal by 5th June. E2 Services have the resources, experience and expertise to help clients through this process from ESOS Audits and Reports through to Compliance Submissions BUT the next few months will fly by and resources will be limited. Don't leave it to the last minute!

  • World Water Day - 22nd March 2024 World Water Day is an annual United Nations Observance – held on 22 March – focused on inspiring action to tackle the global water crisis. The theme of World Water Day 2024 is “Water for Peace”. Whilst as individuals, we can do our bit by having shorter showers, fewer baths and turning off the tap when brushing teeth, but what can organisations do? There are significant benefits, both economically and environmentally in installing smart meters at your business, and at E2 Services we can support you through the installation of a smart metering. Without a meter it is difficult to understand how much water your business is consuming. Smart meters are able to detect and alert you to increases in water usage, indicating the potential of water leaks and ensuring the problems can be fixed before property damage is caused. Suppliers charge for water per cubic meter, so even if a leak causes, a smart meter has the potential to save your business thousands of pounds. With a smart meter, you can immediately observe how your water-saving measures have reduced your water consumption. Even the smallest reductions on consumption can help make your business more sustainable. Water consumption doesn't always receive much attention because, compared with electrical and gas consumption, the costs are very low so saving money here doesn't seem like a huge benefit. However more and more responsible businesses are making an effort based on ESG requirements and ambitions, bringing the same level of benefits to organisations. E2 Services can support you through any smart metering requirements you have. Please contact Matt Gardner if you want to start a conversation. #worldwaterday #sustainable #smartmetering
