Imagine a world where anyone, anywhere, can access the skills to restore nature and build resilient communities. At Earthed, we’re making that vision a reality. From teaching rewilding techniques to supporting grassroots restoration projects, our platform has already helped thousands across 100+ countries take action for the planet. But here’s the thing: keeping nature education free and accessible takes resources—and we can’t do it alone. This winter, we’re aiming to raise £30,000 to grow this movement—and thanks to our Giving Circle, every donation will be matched pound-for-pound, doubling your impact to £60,000. Every pound raised supports open-access education, funds grassroots projects, and removes barriers to action, empowering people worldwide to make a real difference. Let’s grow a global restoration movement, together. Donate today and be part of a powerful moment for Earthed—and for the planet. Click here to learn more and contribute: https://lnkd.in/dhTmCWPe

We are proud partners of The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration Here's our co-founder, Christabel, co-hosting at COP16 Colombia Together, we are galvanising #GenerationRestoration by giving anyone anywhere access to the skills, networks and funds they need to restore nature and grow. #ecosystemrestoration #openaccess #scale #naturerestoration #naturebasedsolutions
CoFounder of Earthed & Advaya 🌍 Removing the obstacles to a citizen-led global nature restoration movement | Expanding consciousness for systemic transformation within and without ✨
It was a joy to co-host the #RestorationDay for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration at COP16 Colombia. We dived into the power of partnership, tracking progress, people-centered approaches and scaling on-the-ground finance in order to galvanise momentum towards the 2030 nature restoration targets. Back in 2020, Ruby and I read one of the first UN Decade white papers just weeks after having dreamed up the initial idea for an open-access, bioregionally specific, skill-oriented learning platform -- now Earthed! It gave us a framework to work with. More importantly, it gave us the stats that made it impossible for us not to turn the ambitious idea into reality! 😅 Today, we are now proud implementing partners to the Decade and feel galvanised by the incredible network all driving #GenerationRestoration It was a huge honour to learn from and meet some of my nature restoration heroes: Society for Ecological Restoration (SER), World Resources Institute, WWF-Brasil, Valerie Hickey, Taruhim Miranda Cardoso Quadros, Ann-Kathrin Neureuther, Leo Murphy, Sarah Nelson, Matheus Couto, Nature Positive Universities, FAO, Mrinalini Rai, Women4Biodiversity, George D. Gann, CERP, Bethanie Walder, Fabiola Zerbini, Jamal Annagylyjova, Yelena Finegold, IKEA, IKEA Foundation, Julian Fox, Khalil Walji, Natalia Alekseeva, Florian Claeys Thank you everyone! #COP16 #BiodiversityCOP #Biodiversity #NatureRestoration #EcosystemRestoration #EcologicalRestoration #UNDecadeOnEcosystemRestoration

Nature Connection Guide, Women's Work Facilitator, Community Builder and Regenerator Stewarding an Eco-Centric World,
Part of my work with Earthed is stewarding our community pollinator programme which is essentially a six month peer to peer support group for those wanting to resource and enable community responses to the ecological crisis centred on ecosystem restoration. Each month we have a monthly hub call where one participant from the programme shares a little about some of the community pollination and projects they have been part of. It brings me so much joy to be working with such an incredible group of people all who are committed to our restoring our planet. Back in October Maya Ouwehand shared some of the experimental programme she was part of producing focused on building a regenerative society in one day. One of my takeaways was how so much revolved around food - the food we eat and choose to buy has immense effects on the environment, not only this but how we choose to prepare and eat our food has the potential to bring people together and rebuild culture where we have found ourselves separated. Then in yesterdays monthly hub call Katie Baldock shared her journey towards permaculture and how sharing her story and passion has led her towards taken on a small patch of land to tend to, restoring, growing food and bringing people together. If you like the sound of something like this. You can read more about the programme here: https://lnkd.in/eN_exTPK - Next round will start in March! Get in touch if your curious. x

At Web Summit, Europe’s largest tech conference, it’s been inspiring to engage in meaningful conversations with business leaders from Europe and beyond—exploring what it means to lead consciously, innovate responsibly, and build sustainable businesses that prioritize impact. In a world increasingly shaped by technology, the ripple effects of our business decisions on the planet and our communities are undeniable. Yet, impact isn’t on everyone’s radar—and it needs to be. A highlight of this week has been spending time with the Re:wild team and learning about their incredible work protecting and restoring the wild. Through collaborations with 500+ partners—including Indigenous peoples and local communities in 80+ countries—Re:wild tackles climate change, biodiversity loss, and threats to human health by restoring nature’s power. I encourage you to explore their work and discover opportunities to collaborate on impactful projects around the world. These conversations are a powerful reminder of the responsibility and opportunity we have as leaders to drive meaningful change. How are you integrating impact into your leadership and business strategy? What kind of impact are we creating as we innovate? Team Earthed at Web Summit 🎉
Nature-Based Solutionist | Head of Development @Earthed | Postcode Gardener Programme @Friends of the Earth
Just back from a whirlwind few days representing Earthed at Web Summit in Lisbon—🌍 What struck me most was the deep engagement in our vision of empowering eveyone, eveywhere with the skills, networks, and funds to restore nature from the grassroots up. I wasn’t sure how we’d land at a tech festival but across so many conversations it was clear that people from every corner of the globe care deeply about ecosystem restoration and are hungry for solutions. I’m so grateful to have been there alongside my amazing colleagues Christabel Reed and Kiran Sumra Dhall and to collaborate on our neighbouring stand with the phenomenal team at Re:wild, kindred spirits in reimagining a thriving future for nature. 💚

Earthed at Web Summit 👩🏼💻 We came to showcase how Earthed is addressing the nature, food security, and biodiversity crises through open-access edtech—designed not for tech’s sake, but to empower people globally with Traditional Ecological Knowledge (T.E.K) and make it aspirational for all. I had the honour of speaking alongside Rewild about the role of businesses in creating a bottom-up, mass mobilised restoration movement. Shared inspiring case studies from Earthed’s Founding Partners, Vivobarefoot and Neal's Yard Remedies and spoke of the importance of expanding the notion of sustainable consumerism to ecological citizenship. We set up meetings with possible tech partners to explore how we can enhance learning experiences, track impact, create personalised programmes, foster peer-to-peer learning and drive funds and action for restoration. Highlight was listening to Tori Tsui and Dominique P. talk about why the tech industry needs a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative It’s been an intense few days but grateful for the people I get to work alongside 🪷Kiran Sumra Dhall Ciarán Biggins #websummit #edtech #websummit2024

We are grateful to the epic Nature House team for inviting us into their fantastic programme here at COP16 to share Earthed and collaborate on scaling nature restoration globally 🙏
#NatureHouse at #COP16 is our first multi-day activation on the periphery of the UN Biodiversity Conference. Day 1 summary: We began with Nowadays On Earth and Earthed who brought together city leaders, grassroots organisers, growers, local councils and businesses to discuss how local food growing can benefit people and nature. Next, dear friends We Are Family Foundation youth delegates Russell Reed, Umazi Mvurya, Pothunuri Laya and Doreen Michael hosted an intimate roundtable, composed equitably of young activists and industry leaders, to introduce the concept of youth climate justice, why it matters, and how it can be implemented institutionally. Business Sweden, UNDP and UN Biodiversity hosted a lunch celebrating the visualisation of The Global Biodiversity Framework. We looked at the importance of branding and creativity in bringing the framework to life, and how cross sector partners are using it to guide their own ambitious plans for nature. Continuing with the theme of creativity, Freya Newman and Irene Suarez Perez from Global Optimism convened storytellers, content creators, scientists, Indigenous leaders and business leaders for a tactical session on how we can tell a story of possibility for nature and food at the close of #COP16 to unlock transformation on the road to #COP30. Earthrise Studio (Isabella Noero) began the evening by hosting a reception that brought together Colombian women all at the forefront of environmental and climate efforts. Such a joy to see Blanca Huertas PhD share her connection to her homeland. This was followed by dear friends at The Villars Institute who hosted a dinner centred on radical collaboration for nature restoration. Jonnie Hughes, Thijs Biersteker and Umazi Mvurya laid down new initiatives to reshape how we think about our natural world and invited guests to join new movements to supercharge impact. To finish off, Soundsright and Museum for the United Nations - UN Live featured Nature As An Artist. Simon Mejia - founder and producer of acclaimed Colombian band Bomba Estereo played us out with a DJ-set interwoven with sounds from the natural word.
