🎄🥂🍴Our hard-working staff and coaching teams enjoyed their Christmas meal at The Langton in Charlton Kings yesterday evening. It was a chance for team members from all the club's sections — reception/office, coaching, catering and grounds — to get together after another successful year at East Glos. Judging by the photos, a good time seems to have been had by all!

🎅🎅A huge thankyou to everyone who has been tucking into our Christmas Roasts, lots of lovely feedback from all our members We also welcomed our neighbours the Croquet Club with forty members attending last Tuesday. 🦃🦃By the end of next week we will have served over 250 meals, 250 desserts and 250 coffees, that’s a lot of Pigs in Blankets, Brussel Sprouts and terrible cracker jokes!!! 👏🏻👏🏻An even bigger thankyou to my catering team for all their hard work and dedication in ordering, preparing, serving, clearing and then washing up, it really is appreciated. Congratulations to Ollie and Eva, who have been accepted into the ‘Orange Bowl’ tournament in Miami. The Orange Bowl is one of the most important and prestigious junior tennis tournaments in the world! The list of champions, to name a few, include: Bjorn Borg, Jim Courier, Chris Evert, Roger Federer, Mary Joe Fernandez, Andy Roddick! Ollie and Eva are fantastic ambassadors for East Glos and both are fiercely working hard and as a club we are very proud of their achievements! Their Coach and EG Head of Performance, Peter Russell said: “I am very proud of Ollie and Eva, gaining entry into this prestigious tournament is an achievement in itself and competing in it is part of an amazing tennis education. I have taken players to this event over the years and the caliber of players are players that will undoubtedly be seen on the main stages in the future. Well done and good luck to Ollie and Eva.” LTA
