🌟 Equal Experts is Now 100% Network Owned! 💙 🌟 We are thrilled to share that Equal Experts is now 100% collectively owned by our Network! What does this mean? From now on, 100% of the company will be owned collectively via a Trust on behalf of the employees. This is the same well-established ownership model the John Lewis Partnership uses in the UK. What is different for us is that the Trust will look after the interests of not just the employees but all stakeholders of the Network equally, including our customers. As Thomas de Cad'oro Granier beautifully put it, "Moving to co-ownership is more than protecting our legacy – it’s about changing our perspective so that it’s easier to focus on the longer term." This shift is a testament to our collective strength and potential. Ryan Sikorsky adds, "This transition ensures Equal Experts remains a place that delivers long-term value to all stakeholders of our network over short-term profits." This shift allows us to stay independent, preserve our culture, and ensure long-term value for our customers, employees, and associates. It's a testament to our commitment to building meaningful relationships and focusing on what truly matters. As a Chief/Enterprise Architect, he has specialised in leveraging Architecture Building Blocks (ABBs) to create competitive advantages, streamline operations, and enable elastic growth. His passion for simplifying complex technologies is matched only by his ability to lead large-scale transformations with a clear focus on outcomes. Here are just a few highlights of Abbe’s impactful career: ✨ At HESTA he played a catalyst role in modernising an $89 billion Super Fund with over 1.05 million members, bringing high-value digital channels in-house and accelerating speed-to-market. ✨ Successfully built and scaled an Enterprise Architecture capability, keeping it lean and aligned with organisational goals to deliver cross-domain solutions. ✨ Led a global telecom giant’s expansion into Managed Services, securing $500M in contracts and building a $1B sales pipeline in record time. 🎢 Learning Through Challenges One of Abbe’s most challenging projects involved designing and building Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s technology systems. Managing over 30 workstreams under tight deadlines, he learned the value of creating resilient and scalable architectural foundations to handle complexity. His favourite takeaway? ABBs (aptly sharing their initials!) often do 50% of the work upfront, paving the way for incremental progress and success. 🏔️ Beyond Work: Passion and Purpose Abbe is equally passionate about giving back and staying grounded. Whether hiking, camping, or reflecting on long drives, nature is his haven. He also volunteers at Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital, primarily in the Emergency Department, offering comfort to families during difficult times. As he puts it, volunteering is his detox and a source of boundless gratitude. 📚 A Lifelong Learner An Audible enthusiast, Abbe stays sharp by diving into insightful listens like Project to Product by Mik Kersten and The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell.
