Over 5 million women in the UK have experienced stalking and harassment in the past three years, leaving victims traumatised and at risk of further violence. A recent survey found that 79% of women lacked confidence in the police's ability to investigate these crimes. In response to a super complaint made by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, a joint report was released in 2024, highlighting the need for better training, clearer guidance, and the use of "digital witnesses."
