I found it good practice in my 20+ yrs in business to listen to people that have an incredible passion for what they do, a proven track record for success and humble enough to talk about mistakes. I’ve found it quite reassuring to realise we all have our own ups and downs whilst committed to purpose & service. Yesterday I finally got to meet host, Author and International strategist Karen Hoyle , both Me & Cristina Axford were kindly Invited by Prasanth Panicker to a discussion on launching & marketing a new product digitally hosted by Truro and Penwith College A few hours well invested. #cornwall #businessintelligence #digitalfutures #nature1 #axfordheaton #construction

Today, for International Men's Day, we’re celebrating the importance of Positive Male Role Models and the impact they have on our lives. At Truro and Penwith College, we spoke to Mark Lewin, our Business Partnerships Consultant (Hospitality), to gain insight into the value of role models and how they’ve shaped his personal and professional journey. 🍽️ Mark shares how different male role models—like his father, father-in-law, and colleagues (Tony, James & Veryan in particular)—have guided him along the way. He reflects on how he now strives to inspire others, saying, “I hope my experiences can inspire others, especially young people, to believe in themselves and realise their potential. Success is within reach for everyone, no matter where you come from.” Mark’s journey wasn’t easy, and he’s overcome many challenges to get where he is today. Through hard work, confidence-building, and the support of mentors, he now focuses on helping others do the same. He encourages young people to seek out role models who understand their struggles and can show them the way forward. Read the full blog to learn more about Mark’s perspective on what it means to be a positive male role model, and how we can all play a part in lifting others up. 👉 https://lnkd.in/esRQEJ-w #InternationalMensDay #PositiveMaleRoleModel Cornwall Hospitality Collective
