Two weeks ago, I spoke at the Girls Talk Corporation Tech & Finance Summit, an event that holds special significance for me. 💻 I first attended this event in 2019, which was my introduction to the tech world and the event really inspired me to begin my very own journey into tech. It was lovely meeting you Monica Goyal , Deborah Olatunji & Vannesa Nyathi It’s incredible to see how the event has scaled and the opportunities Girls Talk Corporation provides for women. I felt it was important to return after five years to share my story. 📖 A massive thank you to Girls Talk Corporation, Vanessa Chiedza Sanyauke for providing such an incredible platform that not only inspired myself but many others thanks for having me. #WomeninTech #BlackGirlsTechFinanceSummit #WomenInStem #Thankful 👩🏾💻 💖

Just a few years ago, I was a teenager in the audience of a STEP into STEM talk by Girls Talk inspired by the incredible women on stage and wondering where my journey in tech would take me. Fast forward, and I had the surreal honor of being on that stage, sharing my story and connecting with an amazing community. Speaking at this summit was a full-circle moment I’ll never forget. Grateful for the opportunity and for the brilliant minds I spoke with Monica Goyal Keisha Berry Vannesa Nyathi. 💜 #BlackGirlsInTech #FullCircle #Gratitude Girls Talk Corporation

🌟 I had the opportunity to speak on my first panel at the Black Girls Tech & finance Summit in London with Girls Talk Corporation the other week! 🌟 A heartfelt thank you to the organisers for pulling together such a fantastic event allowing women of colour who are early in their careers to connect and thrive, and to my fellow panellists Keisha Berry, Vannesa Nyathi & Deborah Olatunji for the engaging discussion on how to develop relationships with key players in Tech and Finance! A massive thank you to Nissy Tee for doing an amazing job at hosting, and Vanessa Chiedza Sanyauke for the opportunity - I felt so inspired! I came out of it feeling more confident about my capabilities and I hope everyone attending did as well! In fact, without this opportunity, I don't think I would have had the courage to fill in as a panellist very last minute at The Bristol Media and Entertainment Mixer on diversity and inclusion in M&B (and a big thank you to Duncan Sims for encouraging me to go up)! So now I've done two panels in the space of a week! Here's to many more to come! 🥂 #BlackGirlsTechFinanceSummit #WomenInTech #WomenInFinance #Diversity #Inclusion #MediaandBroadcasting
