Established in 2009, Global Diversity Practice (GDP) enables private and public sector organisations to successfully apply diversity and inclusion strategies that support business goals and targets.     Having had the privilege of judging prestigious awards in #inclusion across the globe for many years applauding best practice. Last night was an evening of recognition and celebration of the most impactful and innovative People strategies in the Middle East! Kudos to CIPD Middle East on hosting an inspirational evening and welcoming an impressive array of private and public sector employers. Peter Cheese, Yousef Bin Mohamed CIPD SPHR ATD & Barinder Hothi , all respected leaders referenced the exciting dynamic impact the People function has and continues to have across the middle east. The calibre of the entries and nomination was indeed noteworthy! The impact, relevance and, innovative approaches I assessed in #DEI made our role difficult to prioritise the multitude of entries. I am excited to showcase this to my global clients as benchmarks of excellence. Having had the pleasure of judging the ‘Most impactful Diversity Equity and Inclusion Initiative” I was delighted to see how all nominees and especially the winners were credited, honoured and showcased! Congratulations to Abu Dhabi Police on your incredible achievements and to all of the finalists and winners from the evening! 🏆

  • 💡 How Inclusion Shapes the Future of Innovation 💡 This week, I had the privilege of attending the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024, a transformative event reaffirming the UAE’s leadership in gender equity, sustainability, and innovation. Under the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this forum wasn’t just a gathering, it was a rallying cry for change. With 3,000+ attendees from 65 countries, 250 speakers, and 25 ministers, the energy was electric. Leaders like HH Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deepak Chopra MD (official), Emine Erdogan, Nora Al Matrooshi, and Leymah Gbowee inspired with stories of how DEI fuels innovation and growth, while companies like EGA, Mastercard, and ADNOC showed that inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do, it will supercharge our future. The Middle East is leading the charge, with the UAE setting global benchmarks in empowering women and embracing innovation. With this ambition, I have founded Inclusion Intelligence Practice (IIP) in the UAE. The Middle East’s forward-looking mindset, its strides in digital transformation, and its embrace of DEI make it an incubator for pioneering solutions that truly combine inclusion and innovation.
