Last Week, our global Head of Education, Carl Bailey, joined by our Schools' consultant, Phil Greenaway and Grays International CEO, Richard Gray attended an exclusive preview of two short movies: 1️⃣ Never Meet Your Heroes Pilot - featuring Jason Robinson. 2️⃣ Jason Robinson Foundation Sardinia Challenge - behind-the-scenes look at an inspiring charity challenge event. The evening, hosted with drinks and canapés, began at 6:30 PM, followed by the screenings at 7:30 PM. Attendees also enjoyed a fascinating Q&A session with Jason Robinson OBE and Rochelle (Rocky) Clark MBE, who both participated in the JRF Sardinia Cycle Challenge 2024. The event wrapped up with networking opportunities, concluding at 9:30 PM. About the Stars of the Evening. Jason Robinson OBE A true sporting icon, Jason has reached the pinnacle of both Rugby League and Rugby Union. He is a 3-time World Cup finalist and famously scored England's sole try in their 2003 Rugby World Cup victory. Jason now channels his passion into the Jason Robinson Foundation, which provides coaching and mentoring to children in economically challenged areas. Rochelle (Rocky) Clark MBE An exceptional figure in rugby, Rocky is a 2014 Rugby World Cup winner and one of England's most capped players with an incredible 137 caps. Beyond her achievements on the pitch, Rocky contributes as a coach and continues to inspire through events like the JRF Sardinia Cycle Challenge 2024, where she and Jason overcame gruelling challenges together. A Night to Remember. This event beautifully highlighted the power of sports to inspire and give back to the community, offering attendees a glimpse into the impactful work of the Jason Robinson Foundation.

Feel-Good Friday! Thanks to our friends at Gilbert Rugby, we recently had the opportunity to share tickets to the England A vs. Australia A game - and we made it count! Do you remember Jack and Nat from The Campion School? After their incredible display of selflessness and team spirit, we couldn't think of anyone more deserving. Both boys were thrilled to attend the game and soak in the atmosphere! At Wallingford Rugby Club, The Wally Wolves - their Neuro-Diverse Rugby Team - caught the attention of our Global Head of Education, Carl Bailey. Founded in 2022, the Wally Wolves provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where young people with individual needs can enjoy and thrive in sport. Head coach, John Peel, passed along the tickets to his dedicated coaching team, Jo & Dan! Joseph Quinn from our flagship school, Dulwich College, also joined the excitement, attending with two fellow members of his coaching team. Moments like these embody what we're all about: fostering community and building connections that go beyond just teamwear. Here's to more initiatives that bring us all together! 🏉 ✨ #rugbyforall #feelgoodfriday #community #beyondteamwear #youbringthepassion

Making Memories That Matter. 📅 16th & 17th November. Doesn't the joy on Eloise and Abi's faces say it all? 🌟 These two passionate netballer's from our flagship schools', Durham School & Clifton College, were the lucky winners of our competition. Their Prize? A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step onto the court and present the Gilbert match ball at the Vitality Horizon Netball Series. 🏐 This incredible experience was made possible thanks to Gilbert Netball's partnership with England Netball. Collaborations like these allow us to create unforgettable moments for our schools' network - moments that inspire, connect, and celebrate sports we are passionate about. 📸 Flynn D. & Morgan Harlow And our very own Jack Stanley for capturing the magic! #makingmemories #netball #schools #vitalityroses #livesport #internationalnetball #jamaciasunshinegirls #AOManchester

Feel Good Friday! Grays Teamsports supported the first annual John Fisher School Invitational State School Rugby Festival back in October. Jack (left of photo) Won The Top Try Scorer Prize from the event. But this is not the end of our awesome interaction with The Campion School. His Director of Rugby, Michael McDarby, got in touch to give us some more information: Jack also plays for Saracens U18 and England U18. One of our schools' virtues is charity. Jack is well stocked for boots so he very generously decided to donate the boots to Nat, our scrum half, who also represents Saracens, who was nominated as our team's 'Player of the Weekend'. Jack really appreciated the gesture from Grays but thought giving the boots to Nat, as our nominated player of the weekend, was the right thing to do. Nat is really happy with his unexpected prize as his last boots were on ‘their last legs!’. Nat would like to thank Gray's for their generosity and support of what was an amazing weekend of rugby. He also thanks Jack for his incredible generosity- once again demonstrating what a team man he is!
