Having recently launched our refreshed Harley Street Health District brand, we are thrilled to welcome Re:Cognition Health to a new 7,765 sq ft unit on the estate. The pioneering brain and mind clinic has signed a new 20-year lease for 62-64 New Cavendish Street, having already been operating in the District for over a decade. Yesterday, English Heritage unveiled a blue plaque at 53 Wimpole Street to honour Diana Beck, the first British female neurosurgeon. This prestigious recognition celebrates Beck’s pioneering contributions to medicine, saving countless lives and advancing the treatment of head injuries and neurological conditions. The plaque, mounted at the site of her former home and consulting rooms, serves as a reminder of her extraordinary achievements. The unveiling ceremony brought together professionals from the medical community and some of her family to pay tribute to her lasting impact on neurosurgery and the broader field of medicine. HCA Healthcare UK will be opening its new women’s healthcare facility in Autumn this year. Spanning six-floors on Harley Street, this 13,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art women’s healthcare centre will provide leading expertise covering all aspects of women’s health. This is a hugely exciting addition to Harley Street and reflects the continued demand for space across our healthcare portfolio and the evolution of Howard de Walden’s strategy to provide a broader range of services. We recently launched our Summer of Music series at The London Clinic – a six-week event initiative which uses music as therapy and sits within our survivorship programme to support patients with cancer.  These live music sessions bring calm and joy to our Duchess of Devonshire Wing (Cancer Centre), and we’ve had some wonderful feedback from patients and visitors: “I love listening to your melodies. It brings harmony and a smile as soon as you hear it. Thank you.
