What a start to Christmas... Leaders from Norfolk and Waveney’s Later Life Provider Network, which represents 45 local organisations supporting over 50,000 residents aged 50 and above, have met with Norwich City MPs Clive Lewis and Alice Macdonald to highlight the severe challenges facing services for older people. The meeting, part of a wider series of discussions with MPs across the region, was a platform for the network to raise critical concerns about the future of care services. The group has been campaigning to ensure that local MPs understand the pressures faced by the sector and the impact on vulnerable residents. Thank you to Clive Lewis and Alice Macdonald for coming and talking to the network and taking on board our member feedback, we look forward to working with you and all regional MPs in the New Year. It’s That Time of Year Again! It’s here – the time of year that amplifies all the biggest challenges for those of us with hearing loss. Music that we love but can no longer hear or enjoy the way we used to. Lots of people gathered in one place: no matter how few or how many, it’s a crowd. And crowds are noisy and indecipherable. The are also incredibly isolating, when we can’t find our place in the babble of conversations, or understand what that one person, right there in front of us, is saying. And seriously? We can’t even hear ourselves: https://lnkd.in/gGGaE2S8 #hearingloss #christmas #festiveseason #communication #music #socialising #partyseason #deafawareness #health #wellbeing
