🚀 Product launch! We couldn't be prouder to announce that Akord AI, the world's first AI-Powered Co-Pilot for Peacebuilders has officially launched today. Our team worked closely with Conflict Dynamics International to bring this groundbreaking AI assistant to life, which will initially support civic actors working to resolve the conflict and bring peace initially in Sudan and will later roll globally. Our CEO, Sarat Pediredla 🦔 said about the project "Akord AI is one of the most inspiring projects that we’ve ever worked on. Being a Delivery Manager is a truly rewarding experience, especially when the foundation of your work revolves around people. It’s a role that demands a lot, but it also gives so much in return. What I really enjoy about it is that no two days are the same. It's dynamic, blending leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving to ensure projects move from concept to completion. 👉 What is your favourite hobby? My favourite hobby is Cuban salsa dancing. It has been a part of my life for nearly a decade and it’s not just about movement—it’s a vibrant celebration of rhythm, connection, and self-expression. Dancing fills me with pure joy and gives me a profound sense of belonging. Connor McLeod, one of our talented designers is collaborating with York College, York UK, mentoring aspiring young designers and one of them graduated with a First! We are thrilled to see that one of his mentees, Laura Smelt recently graduated with a First-Class honours degree and is now embarking on a career in design! Laura said "Working alongside hedgehog lab during the course was great too and helped me a lot when I went on to interview for the role I am doing now." This achievement highlights the vital role mentorship plays in shaping the future of creative professionals. Yesterday our hedgehogs Aime Watson Bachini, Sam Truman, Owain Brown and George A. spent their day at Marden High School for BIMA (British Interactive Media Association) Digital Day! 🚀 The day was all about inspiring future talent and unlocking our digital potential with some real-life challenges.
