A week in the life..... - delivery of training to team of managers on 'how not to get sued' and management skills- employment law 101 with session on delegation, feedback, emotional intelligence and resilience 📝 - Sexual harassment training to entire workforce- face to face in person session ✏️ - mediation between two directors of a business with a hugely successful outcome 🫶 - advice and strategy meeting with HR in relation to complex disciplinary matter for a client, regarding allegations of abuse in care home environment- supported through disciplinary meetings and all correspondence - unchallenged termination ❌ - meeting with client to review influencer agreements and wider commercial agreements for 2025 planning 🧠 - system testing of new features in the Hroes system 🙌 Early week- with annual leave for a festive weekend in Dublin 🍺 Thanks to Storm Darragh and damage to Holyhead Port affecting the ferries, entire week this week been sent into disarray - thankfully the laptop goes everywhere!! 😎 🇮🇪 I love what I do, it is so varied. Some weeks feel more like an 'in-house counsel' week, other weeks I'm knee deep in employment law, then come the admin heavy days 😭 When someone asks what I do, my go to is often 'I support HR with complex employment law and workforce issues' but when I look at a week like this, it is SO much more! What do you think I can add to your team? Train the trainer? A shoulder to cry on and problem solve with you? Serious legal strategy and risk mitigation? Or simply just that objective ear who can give you the nod and resilience to do what you already do best but sometimes just need someone to give you confidence.
