Through our new project, funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation, we are establishing a Digital Hub for Open Research in East Africa - harnessing the transformative possibilities of open science to enable talented young East African researchers to bring new knowledge, fresh thinking and passion to change lives and livelihoods to bear on some of the most critical questions facing their nations and communities, and to deliver real impact. Members of this digital hub will have access to an online learning programme, learning about engaged, open research, gender responsive research, open research design, communicating research, integrating open research tools and platforms, and more! I'm on my way to Pretoria for Science Forum South Africa.
