This year, our colleagues went all out for our annual Christmas Decoration Competition! From the Polar Express and hot chocolate stations to incredible winter wonderlands, our Exec Team had a tough job judging the amazing displays. 🌲 🎁 It was a brilliant way to bring festive cheer to the office, showcase creativity, and celebrate the season together. We also captured a glimpse of our Shoebox Appeal, where colleagues and partners filled over 170 shoeboxes with gifts for our customers, spreading kindness and joy this Christmas. Look at the highlights in this video – it was a fun way to wrap up the year!

About us
With over 22,600 social and affordable homes, Incommunities is a leading housing provider in the region and our properties are primarily located in the Bradford district. However, we also have homes in Kirklees, Wakefield, and the Sheffield area, and we are constantly developing more new homes in North and South Yorkshire. As a not-for-profit organisation, we reinvest our income into the homes and communities in Bradford and the surrounding areas. Our goal is to provide a diverse range of good quality, warm, and affordable homes while delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of local people. We also invest in our homes to make them more energy-efficient and cheaper to run for our residents, as well as creating employment opportunities for local people and contributing to the local economy through our various employment schemes and activities.

Over the next few days, we will deliver hundreds of Christmas presents to those who need them most. Thanks to the generosity of our staff and suppliers. More than 200 gifts were donated to our shoebox appeal! 🎁 Emma from our Money Matters team shared, “Many of our customers are struggling financially or lack the support of loved ones. We hope these gifts bring a little happiness to their holidays.” A huge thank you to all our suppliers who contributed to our shoebox appeal 🎁 John Garth, O’Hara’s, The Purple Roofing Co., Sustainable Building Services (UK) Ltd, The Mould Company, Ashley & McDonough Compliance Services, Cromwell, Social Homes and Kingfisher Windows . The Christmas spirit at Incommunities didn't stop there. Instead of sending festive cards, we have chosen #ANDYSMANCLUB as our charity of the year. Andy’s Man Club, which has four groups across Bradford, will now benefit from a £2,000 donation to support their ongoing work. Fantastic couple of days at the The Institute of Asset Management UK Chapter Conference in London and I'm very proud to have had the chance to present alongside Tracey Harwood MBA IAM on Incommunities journey so far towards our goal of delivering asset management excellence. Definitely something I never thought I'd do, given that 18 months or so ago I knew very little about the world of asset management, but now I feel like a real "asset person" (albeit an 'accidental' one)! Some really inspiring and thought provoking speakers and great to meet Laura Young CIHCM, Oscar Heckstall-Smith and June Lancaster CMgr Paul Harris Fellow in person for the first time.

Join our Director of Assets and Compliance, Tracey Harwood and our Change Delivery Manager, Sebastian Conti as they share insights on our journey of developing a Strategic Asset Management plan, the importance of collaboration and how we have adopted the IAM principles around asset management. We’re thrilled to be the first housing provider to speak at the Institute of Asset Management conference on Wednesday!
