Established in 1874, Innes & Mackay is the oldest law firm in Inverness. In addition to its Estate Agency, the firm specialises in Family Law, Wills, Powers of Attorneys, Guardianships, Property Sales and Purchases, and Court Work. Innes & Mackay has been providing legal services throughout the Highlands for over 145 years. The documented history of the firm dates back to 1874, but it is understood that as far back as 1769 Innes & Mackay was involved in a case relating to the release of peat diggings! Today we assist clients in Inverness and across the Highlands with a range of legal and property matters. Led by a team of five directors, we provide assistance with Conveyancing, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Wills and Executries, and Property sales and purchase. We are a progressive firm combining traditional values with a modern approach in providing our clients with a high quality of legal services.
