We have been working with major brands and live broadcasting since 1998 and our clients range from the Royal Household to prestige organisations like the Royal Opera House, British Fashion Council and events such as the BRIT Awards, to corporate behemoths like Accenture, Deloitte and Tesco, as well as sports organisations like The FA, British Cycling and British Athletics. We have extensive experience in managing filming crews and broadcast facilities all over the world – from Sydney to Solihull & Doha to Dublin.....we’ve even streamed live from the international space station to the planet for Youtube.

Ever wondered about how to retain talent for your broadcast business or organisation? It was one of the questions, our founder, Simon Haywood - Live Broadcast Innovator, was recently interviewed on for IBC - International Broadcasting Convention's 365. Brilliantly extracted from our very own quietly brilliant Simon, thank you, David Davies. The article's well worth a read, with contributions also by Erik Otto of Mediaproxy Pty Ltd and Paula Bier Mercader of Lawo.

Building on our successful relationship with the British Fashion Council (BFC) and their flagship event, London Fashion Week, the BFC connected us to the sustainable fashion brand, Maison Bent, for their inaugural LFW catwalk show. JACKSHOOT supported the event as the Official Online Broadcast Partner, delivering a live broadcast (or live stream) to their Instagram platform. Take a read of our latest blog which highlights more about the event: https://lnkd.in/ei5ekfah

What a trip #IBC2024 Amsterdam was! (not that kind of ’trip,’ we’re very well-behaved at JACKSHOOT 😉). Check out the sizzling stats👇🏼 4 JACKSHOOTERS + IBC = 👟 240,000 steps 🤝 63 new contacts made ䷋ 52 stands visited ☕️ 46 cups of coffee ( & possibly some rose too!) 🥂 6 networking drink events 🥿 4 pairs of worn-out shoes 📰 3 interviews given ❤️🩹 2-day recovery time 🎤 1 panel talk nailed. Everyone at JACKSHOOT is looking forward to a more chilled weekend than last and definitely a plan to rebook for #IBC2025. Thanks to all who made IBC - International Broadcasting Convention 2024 so epic!

Having had an amazing 🤩 #IBC2024, we thought we'd celebrate with a slightly different post to most. With many at JACKSHOOT being seasoned IBCers (is that a noun?!), we were keen to hear from one of our newest recruits, Osaro Ewansiha (pictured below), about how he found the experience. Here's Osaro's take on it: "I’m only just about emerging from the post-IBC haze! It’s Green tea and Matcha detox week. Big time. Some of the most useful parts of IBC were the more intimate, casual chats, both planned and unplanned, that made the convention worthwhile. I arrived with the Flint Media Sustainability Eurostar train carriage, a great approach to reduce air travel (and efficient too!). While many were experiencing delays at the airport, we were enjoying a glass (or several) of wine, playing quizzes and chatting with others making their way to the convention (it’s obvious who lucked out on the best travel option, ha ha!). As much as I love rosé on tap, meeting people in the industry and seeing what new cool things they’re coming up with is the best part. "How do we bring broadcast technology forward and evolve production workflows?" was the question on everyone's mind. Also, an industry buzzword we’ve covered previously - 'technology convergence': many companies are looking to upscale to cloud-based production or take on a hybrid approach that absolves large crews onsite - after all, it's better for the environment and our pockets. Everyone is clearly racing to the top to prove they have the best solution. Healthy competition is good, it sparks innovation! And as innovators in live broadcasts, I’d say we at JACKSHOOT are doing pretty well 😉. We have to take a moment to talk about the famous ‘beach’ aka a pit of sand filled with a bunch of guys in suits. Blue suits with white shirts to be exact (I didn’t get the memo on the dress code, but next year, I’ll be ready 😁). The convention is so big, there are so many stands to visit and I love how social everyone is. We’re all there to network and get to know each other, so it’s very inviting to walk around the stands and be greeted with warm receptions (and free snacks). I’d say my first time was a success and I’m very happy I got to experience it with the JACKSHOOT team. This felt like the perfect way to round off a nice summer (and my birthday which also happens to fall on the same weekend as IBC). So, until next year IBC…" Thanks for the overview, Osaro. Yes, we're already counting down to #IBC2025!
