While today is traditionally about celebrating your loved ones, this year our CSR committee in Manchester decided to put the love in the air to good use and organise a fundraiser for our charity partner, We Love MCR Charity, and make today all about appreciating our fellow colleagues. Open to anyone who wanted to show appreciation for colleagues that make our lives that little bit easier, keep us smiling throughout the day, or that one person we want to thank for being themselves, this years Valentine's Day at JMW has morphed into 'Appreciate a Colleague Day' with our volunteer cupids delivering anonymous sweet treats to those who were lucky enough to have one bought by their secret admirers. Thank you to our CSR committee for bringing a smile to many faces in the office today and for raising an incredible £579 for our charity partner. Last night our Modern Families team hosted their Pathways to Parenthood evening where speakers discussed their reasoning for choosing their selected pathway to parenthood, whether that be solo motherhood, joint motherhood, adoption, or surrogacy, and shared the highs and lows of their experiences.
