About us

KTA is an Exeter based Studio whose roots go back to 1984, with a group of design professionals with considerable experience and an enviable reputation working on a number of projects across the UK. That reputation is based on winning a substantial number of awards, including six coveted Civic Trust Awards. Several quality public and private buildings are the result of national competition triumphs. View our projects at www.kta.uk.com. We are involved in many Sectors including Learning, Health, Living, Commercial, Sports/Stadia, Hospitality/Leisure, Aviation and Arts/Culture. We believe that skilful architects have the opportunity to enhance people’s lives and it is this which forms the enthusiastic design philosophy of the Studio. The two Directors have assembled a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Architects and Technicians, backed up by state of the art Revit facilities throughout. An in-house service is provided by a visualisation team who can produce the very latest presentation material, perspectives, colour and interiors, all backed up by ‘walk through’ and ‘fly through’ productions using drone footage. We can give Clients a virtual reality of our designs through VR headsets: this has proved to be a very popular and effective tool, which underwrites our own design decisions with truthful techniques. Our design teams always aim to provide visually exciting and workable schemes that fit Clients’ needs. We are always very conscious of budget and quality and we are very proud of our reputation in all these respects.

We love to celebrate and our Christmas party was one for the books! 🎉🎄 The KTA team had a blast at our Christmas party last Friday. We kicked things off with some drinks, office awards, and Secret Santa in our cozy office Winslade Park. It was so much fun to exchange gifts and recognize each other's hard work this year. We then headed down to Harry's Restaurant for a festive lunch and then moved onto a few others bars in Exeter.

Last week, we had the pleasure of teaming up with the National Trust and KTA to plant trees at Cod Wood, Teign Valley. As a group, we planted over 100 trees! 🌲 This initiative is part of the National Trust’s goal to plant 20 million trees, each capable of removing up to a tonne of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Not only did we have a brilliant day of working together as a team, but it was also inspiring to know that we each individually have contributed to a cleaner environment in Teign Valley. Thank you to the amazing rangers with the National Trust!
