🎄 Last Saturday, Birmingham Cathedral was filled with friendship, music and 250 of Birmingham's homeless and vulnerable people, who enjoyed a hot Christmas Lunch. Over 70 volunteers came down to catch up with our regulars, welcome people new to LFB and to help the event run smoothly. 14 generous sponsors made it all possible. This is a very special (and hectic!) day in the LFB calendar but it's always worth it. Special thanks to: Birmingham Cathedral (St Philip's) for the venue, The Thomas Franks Foundation for preparing such a delicious meal, The Northfield Acapella Choir for providing music and song, and our amazing crew of volunteers. Enormous thanks to our sponsors: ABN AMRO Bank N.V. BioCare Bond Wolfe Bordeaux Estates Burns & McDonnell Flume Group Freeths James Hewitson Krishan Parmar Kroll Mazars NFP Insurance Solutions Pinsent Masons Solus ✨ Wishing all of our friends, volunteers and sponsors a merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2025. ✨

Thanks, as always, to The Thomas Franks Foundation for showing up and helping out so wonderfully!
Yesterday morning the team were at Cathedral Square Birmingham feeding our friends living on the streets of the city. A big thanks to Hallfield School, where we prepared the food and to Let's Feed Brum volunteers.

Let’s Feed Brum is 8! 🎂 In 2016, a handful of people set out on the first walkabouts, aiming to make a difference to homeless and vulnerable people around Birmingham. Today, our 100 or so volunteers connect with hundreds of people in need every day. We may have grown in size (and bought a van!) but our objective is the same: to provide essential supplies and friendship, treating everyone we meet with dignity and respect, and signposting people to the services on offer that will help them get back on track. Thanks to everyone who has gotten involved over the years. Whether you’ve joined a walkabout or made a donation, you are helping to make a difference to people’s lives. 🙏

Thank you so much for your support! We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers.
Last week, members of our Risk Consulting team volunteered with Let's Feed Brum at Birmingham Cathedral ⛪ The team got to work setting up tables, serving hot sandwiches and drinks, and supplying toiletries to anyone who needed them 🤝 The charity's goal is to make a lasting difference to those experiencing and at risk of homelessness 💕 Community is at the heart of everything we do at Forvis Mazars, It was great to see first-hand just how many people Let’s Feed Brum helps in their community. 🔴 Wednesday night walkabout cancelled 🔴 We have reluctantly decided to cancel our city centre walkabout tonight. It’s not a decision taken lightly but we have to consider the safety of our volunteers, particularly those from the communities being targeted in the horrific, racist riots being organised around the UK right now. We’ll continue to consult with team leaders to decide what to do on a day-to-day basis. It’s our expectation that Thursday Breakfast Club at Pigeon Park should take place as normal tomorrow morning. If you know of anyone in need, ask them to come along to Breakfast Club from 10am-12pm on Thurs or to call our hotline: 0800 001 6847.

Supporting Let's Feed Brum - HLB Communities Day This week, it was time for #teambeevers in Birmingham to celebrate HLB International Communities Day. The team supported Let's Feed Brum in their mission to provide food and drink to those in need. Let's Feed Brum works tirelessly to combat homelessness and hunger in #Birmingham, offering not just meals, but also companionship and support to individuals who often feel forgotten. Our Birmingham colleagues have supported Let's Feed Brum in various ways over the last 12 months and we are committed to continuing our support for Let's Feed Brum in the future. A huge thank you to the Let's Feed Brum team for welcoming us and allowing us to contribute to their vital work. #teambeevers #achievingbetter #togetherwemakeithappen
